Yes buddy, we Indians also differ greatly from one region to another! Jokes apart, there are multiple Vaastu aspects which are not the same in North India and Southern cities. Telling you from personal experience. In fact, my friends working in real estate in South India say that people are really tech-savvy and smart. They prefer homes that have good Vaastu. I mean Vaastu is more important for them while buying a home. South people swear by the science of Vaastu and how technically it is implemented in the home.
North people go more for climate, weather conditions and mostly want bigger spaces with more practical layouts. They also like open balconies more than counterparts in South India. North Indian buyers value space and functionality levels above everything else. Balconies are most attractive for them. For South Indian buyers, Vaastu compliant homes are the only ones that can bring them success, prosperity and positive vibes.
Without generalizing too much, can say that there are some basic differences depending on the particular region and the temperament of people. Vaastu is definitely more important to people in South Indian cities that are also tech hubs like Bangalore, Hyderabad and so on. Now there are intrinsic differences like people in Jaipur, Gurgaon may choose prayer spaces as exclusive zones in the house while a Bangalore buyer may opt for a study instead. It all depends on perspective.
