Whether you are travelling, joining a new company or filing taxes, the need to submit your Aadhaar Card as ID proof can come up any time. But what happens when you don’t carry your Aadhaar Card with you? We’ve all faced this situation at some point or the other, haven’t we? A simple solution for this problem is the Aadhaar card download option.

We’re living in an internet-obsessed world where everything is available online. The Government of India understands this very well and has thus given us the option to download important documents such as the Aadhaar Card online. A quick and easy way to do that is by visiting the official UIDAI website and following the related guidelines.

Aside from downloading, you can also print your Aadhaar Card. Just like downloading, printing your Aadhaar Card is a hassle-free process. We have listed the steps for both of those below. Take a look and make sure to carefully follow the instructions.

Aadhaar Card Download Online – What are the Benefits?

Before we get down to the process of downloading Aadhar, let us discuss the benefits it offers. Aside from the obvious that you can access it anytime and anywhere, having an Aadhaar Card in handy has the following perks:

  • With an Aadhaar, you can also avail yourself of varied government-authorized benefits or schemes such as LPG subsidies.
  • Even if you lose your Aadhaar Card (physical card) for some reason, you can download and print it online. It will serve the same purpose.
