Being the fourth child of a New York real estate tycoon, he was expected to work the lowest tiers job within his father’s company. However, he ended up being the one to succeed his father. He got into real estate with a loan worth $1 million from his father before joining the company. He helped his father with residential housing projects in New York. He later took over the company and changed the name to Trump Organization.

It is strange to know that Trump was a misbehaving kid who was sent to boarding but later turned out to be the favourite child of his father. He shifted his business from residential units in Brooklyn and Queens to Manhattan projects. He even transformed the Rundown Commodore Hotel into the Grand Hyatt. His efforts were quite evident when he fabricated the now-famous 68-storey Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue.

Some of his other properties include Trump Place, Trump World Tower, Trump International Tower, and so on. Trump Towers have spread their arms in Mumbai, Istanbul, and even the Philippines. Although a wing of his casinos and hotels led to four bankruptcy filings they were not his personal properties.

In June 2019, Trump sold his Tudor-style mansion in Beverly Hills worth $13.5 million. This left him with eight personal properties spread across three states and the Caribbean Island. Here’s a sneak peek into some of his most opulent properties:

Trump Tower Penthouse, New York City

It is a three-level penthouse at the 66th storey on top of the Trump Tower, New York. The 33,000 Sq.Ft. penthouse is known for its opulent and lavish style. The property boasts of 24 karat gold and marble details. His office and home both were in the same building making it convenient for him. The penthouse was modeled after the Palace of Versailles with rococo decor and a profuse amount of gold.

Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach

Donald Trump has spent a lot of his personal time in this 128-room mansion built by cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post in 1927. However, he has also used the property for official purposes. For instance, he hosted President Xi Jinping of China in 2017 for a two-day summit at the private club.

In addition to Mar-a-Lago, the president has three more homes in Palm Beach that are together priced at $25 million.

Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster Township, New Jersey

The main house of this property is a private club open to members at an annual fee. The Trump family owns multiple cottages on this property and Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner had got married here way back in 2009.

Seven Springs, Bedford, New York

When Donald Trump wishes to get away from the city, he has his 39,000 Sq.Ft. mansion in Bedford, New York. The home is commonly known as Seven Springs. Located 45 miles north of New York City, the property boasts of three pools within the premises and a bowling alley. The property has 60 rooms and 12 baths.

It was reportedly bought at a price of $7.5 million in the year 1996 and today the property is worth close to $ 25 million.
