Ghaziabad is set to get a major boost with several infrastructure projects announced for the city by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while inaugurating the Hindon Elevated Road covering 10 kilometers in all. All these projects will boost connectivity greatly in Ghaziabad which is part of the NCR (National Capital Region) and will also go a long way towards enhancing its real estate prospects. The elevated Hindon Road will be easing connectivity issues for residents in Ghaziabad.

10 kilometres have been completed for the four lane Hindon Elevated Road till now. Those traveling from Delhi can now access Ghaziabad easily with this road. This will also connect to the National Highway 24 and also the Raj Nagar Extension area, boosting the real estate prospects of this area greatly. This will also go towards Meerut, working as a bypass road. The elevated corridor will not be opening for larger commercial vehicles in order to smoothen traffic flow. Raj Nagar Extension will also get a traffic rotary for lowering congestion. The Hindon Elevated Road has been constructed at a total cost of Rs. 1, 470 crore as per reports.

The Chief Minister has also laid the foundation stone for building around 856 affordable homes at Madhuban Bapudham. This housing project will be built as per the PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) for benefiting the economically weaker buyers in the city. The area is under the GDA (Ghaziabad Development Authority) and is located along the National Highway 58. There will be an industrial park developed by the GDA in the near future for offering good employment prospects for dwellers in this zone. There will be auctioning of 40 industrial plots for funding the cost of constructing and building infrastructure and other amenities.

All street lights will soon be replaced by LED bulbs in Loni and Indirapuram which are major zones in Ghaziabad. The GDA has already started its project to replace 9, 000 tubelights and streetlights with LED bulbs for saving on power. The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation is also targeting a similar switch for 60, 000 streetlights approximately in areas like Tulsi Niketan, Raj Nagar Extension, Koyal Enclave and Indirapuram.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the grade separator and rotary for smooth changeovers to the National Highway 58 Link Road. This will ease movement of traffic on the major GT Road close to the Meerut Crossing. There will be a drainage and road enhancing project from GT Road to Raj Nagar Extension that has also been launched by the Chief Minister. A renovation project has also been inaugurated for Delhi Gate, Dasna Gate and Jawahar Gate. This proposal has already received clearance from the GDA and a cultural centre has also been proposed the Karhera city forest in Hindon. With multiple infrastructural developments in the pipeline, Ghaziabad should witness a boost for its real estate market and an increase in property values likewise. This should also lead to major real estate players coming up with premium projects in the city in the near future.
