This stop is the station people mean when they say KR Puram metro. It opened in March 2023 as part of the Whitefield\u2013Krishnarajapura stretch, inaugurated by the Prime Minister, and it’s been one of the busier additions to the Purple Line since. The station is elevated, has two side platforms, and connects almost directly to the KR Puram railway station through a foot overbridge barely 94 meters away, so about a two-minute walk if you’re switching from metro to train.<\/span><\/p>\n

It also serves as a starting point for the airport. There’s no direct metro line to Kempegowda International Airport yet, but BMTC runs a shuttle bus service (the KIA route) straight from KR Puram station, which a fair number of regular flyers in the area already rely on instead of booking a cab all the way.<\/span><\/p>\n
