Agents registered 765 housing projects between January and October with the State RERA. On the contrary, only 755 projects were registered in 2020 between January and December.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3>Authority Doubled the Fine After Developers Challenged RERA Penalty<\/h3>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TNRERA issued an order against Casagrand Builder Private Limited in January to pay a \u20b9 10 lakh penalty for not displaying the RERA registration number in an advertisement. The ad was issued in November 2020 at various locations, including ECR, Manapakkam, Sholinganallur, Thalambur-OMR, Medavakkam, Mogappair, and others. But the promoters said they can&#8217;t mention the RERA Registration number as there&#8217;s no space. In turn, the authority imposed an additional fine of \u20b9 10 lakh.
