Badarpur Border Faridabad is the area on the Haryana side at the Delhi- Haryana border in Faridabad. The immediate neighbourhood on the Delhi side is called Badarpur, and hence this area is known as Badarpur Border area. The Badarpur Border in Faridabad is a significant ingress and egress point for traffic between Haryana and Delhi. It is home to BTPS(Badarpur thermal Power station) of NTPC started in 1973. Badarpur once accommodated caravan rest houses, called Sarai Badarpur back then.
Many people confuse this place with Badalpur, Uttar Pradesh the hometown of politician Mayawati.
The major roads intersect along the Badarpur Border area – Delhi-Mathura Road Toll Tax Flyover, Delhi- Chennai Road, Jaitapur Road, Mehrauli Badarpur Road. The locality is essentially a border area, with most residential colonies located on the Mathura roads eastern side. The western side of Mathura road is home to many warehouses and industries, part of the Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate. National Power Training Institute at the NTPC Plant and IGNOU Regional Centre are the significant higher education institutes in the area. Tajpur Pahari, Molar Band, Railway Colonies are neighbouring localities.
