This is the third major node after and Panvel that lies towards .

In a major strategic advantage, Kamothe lies just adjacent to the Central Business District (CBD) in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Kamothe is also well linked to Kalamboli, Kharghar, Taloja and Panvel. There are 48 sectors in the locality and these are more or less planned. Kamothe is a completely slum free and contemporary Navi Mumbai locality. Kamothe has a network of wide internal roads and water supply issues are usually not observed. There is a police station already and CIDCO has planned to build several shopping malls in the locality soon.
