The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is in charge of the urban development of the state capital, New Delhi. From DDA's housing program to land allocation, DDA has effectively managed the growing demand for housing, social infrastructure, and public facilities in Delhi.  To keep up with technological advances, government agencies have introduced innovations and improved the administrative efficiency of the capital, thus reducing application processing time. On 30th December 1957, the Delhi Development Board acquired its present name and role as its ninth builder of metropolitan Delhi. Authorities independently manage, plan, develop and build residential projects and commercial areas in the provincial capital. It also features public facilities such as parks, roads, bridges, ditches, community centres, and sports centres.  This agency is also responsible for designing master plans for the state's territories and regulating structured development. DDA also identifies new land that can be developed as residential real estate, creating self-contained colonies to provide ample space for commercial and retail complexes. DDA is the first independent development agency established in India. DDA recently brought many services online, like housing unit assignments, online housing program applications, land pool policy applications, and more.
