Following the non-compliance of notices issued under the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, the NMMC carried out a demolition drive against a property owner who continued construction without prior approval.

available. There are several options for public transport, and autos and cabs are very
easily available. So far, I have not experienced major power cuts or issues with
the water supply. The streets are well-lit and safe at night. We have good access to

A few years ago, I had to leave Ghansoli for work. However, my experience in that
locality was very good. I had very good access to public transport and the roads
were wide and very well-maintained. I never experienced traffic jams and commuting
was easy. However, garbage was a major concern in the internal colonies of
Ghansoli and there were parking issues as well. Apart from these, the neighborhood was convenient.
