The Supreme Court criticized 13 directors of Jaypee Group for prioritizing personal gains over the interests of homebuyers and froze their assets. The court stated that the directors should use personal properties or jewelry to recover money owed to homebuyers.

Approximately 50 to 100 homebuyers protested at India Gate with signs demanding their homes, as the Jaypee Group's township project near the Yamuna Expressway had come to a halt, affecting around 23,000 homebuyers. The project, called Wish Town, faced delays of over five years.

The Supreme Court declined to hear Jaypee Infratech's plea requesting directions to the Noida Authority for completion certificates for projects within a 10km radius of a bird sanctuary. The court stated that the central government should make a decision on the issue.

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) upheld Suraksha Realty's bid to acquire Jaypee Infratech but directed them to pay an additional ₹1,334 crore as compensation to farmers. The decision is expected to provide relief to over 20,000 homebuyers in stalled projects across Noida and Greater Noida.

Hundreds of homebuyers protested in Noida against the delayed construction of Jaypee Infratech projects, even after Suraksha Group took over a year prior. Represented by JREAWS, the protestors breached barricades demanding faster construction. A meeting with the CEO was secured, with follow-up meetings planned to review progress.

Homebuyers protested against Suraksha, the resolution applicant that took over Jaypee Infratech Ltd (JIL) the previous May, alleging violations of the resolution plan, including the failure to secure a ₹3,000-crore funding facility within 90 days of the takeover. The protesters demanded a meeting with senior management and sought specific timelines.

A local court ordered a 100-meter protest-free zone around Jaypee Infratech's headquarters in Sector 128, following a civil suit filed by Jaypee Infratech against JIL Real Estate Allottees Welfare Society (JREAWS) and other protesters. The court's decision followed a protest on April 10 when over 125 homebuyers demanded clarity on construction timelines.

The Supreme Court has directed Jaypee Infratech homebuyers to claim refunds or apply for flat allotments by December 5, with no further extensions to be granted. The court instructed Suraksha Realty Limited to make a public announcement informing all affected homebuyers of the deadline.

The Supreme Court directed the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority to cooperate with homebuyers in reviving an abandoned housing project. The Court has asked the Authority to provide details of the financial demands it would have raised had the original builder completed the project so that proportional charges for each homebuyer can be determined based on the size of their apartments.
