MMRDA Advances Metro Line 14 DPR Process with Technical Bids Under Evaluation

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has moved forward with the consultant appointment process for Metro Line 14, connecting Kanjurmarg to Badlapur.This will be mproving daily commuting for residents in Mumbai's eastern suburbs and developing parts of the MMR.

MMRDA Restarts Planning for Mumbai Metro Line 14, Aiming for India's Longest Metro Corridor

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has initiated the planning process for Metro Line 14, which will connect Kanjurmarg to Badlapur. A new tender has been issued for consultants to overhaul project planning, conduct surveys, and prepare a Detailed Project Report.

A total of 43 out of 52 launched units have been booked as of February 2025, including 82% of OFFICE SPACE(28 out of 34 units), 75% of SHOP(6 out of 8 units), 80% of 1 BHK(4 out of 5 units), 100% of 3 BHK(1 units), 2 BHK(4 units).

MEP Services including lift and staircases, are now 100% done.

Structural Works reach 41% completion, External Works has reached 100%, Internal finishing stands at 100%, MEP Services including lift and staircases, are now 75% done.

A total of 28 out of 52 launched units have been booked as of December 2022, including 41% of OFFICE SPACE(14 out of 34 units), 75% of SHOP(6 out of 8 units), 60% of 1 BHK(3 out of 5 units), 100% of 3 BHK(1 units), 2 BHK(4 units).
