Positives: For a brief duration, but my stint here made me enjoy West Delhi's proper planning. The greatest strength was the phenomenal connectivity; Green Line Metro stops and Outer Ring Road accessibility ensured travelling around the city was incredibly simple. And, the vast Jwala Heri Market was wonderful, with everything one might require, and the residential blocks seemed green. Negatives: Sadly, urban issues inevitably set in. Firstly, driving on the major routes during peak hour was a serious issue; the jam was severe. Secondly, having proper parking late in the night close to my flat was always a major hassle. Additionally, sanitation and refuse collection in some of the inner residential alleys of the older sections was clearly lacking in the maintenance found in the major areas.
Positives: I am already living on rent in Paschim Vihar, and to be honest, the proposed plan is amazing. The area is planned, highly green, and feels very safe with all the residential complexes. Additionally, with the Outer Ring Road as well as the Paschim Vihar East/West Metro stops just nearby, commuting across Delhi is surprisingly easy, which is a big boon to me. Negatives: My sole grievances pertain to the older infrastructural problems. Parking is a disaster; the lanes are completely jammed due to excessive personal cars. Sanitation in the internal service roads tends to be left behind, resulting in dumped trash and bad hygiene. Additionally, the water pressure is very low sometimes, and getting dependable maintenance work done on old buildings is always a challenge.
Positives: Outer Ring Road and Rohtak Road has for good connectivity , and two metro stops Paschim Vihar East and West allowing easy connectivity to other locations. The Heritage School and Mount Abu Public School, and health care units including Action Balaji Hospital and Maharaja Agrasen Hospital close by. The locality is also dotted with a number of shopping complexes such as Pacific Mall and City Centre. District Park and Shivaji Park, Paschim Vihar has enough green areas for recreation. Negatives: Traffic jams, particularly during peak periods. Moreover, although the area is well connected by public transport, certain areas can be found lacking in terms of waste management and sanitation, and this affects the overall hygiene.
Positives: I shifted to Paschim Vihar a couple of years back and I felt like home having a property there. The area is well-planned with broad streets, lots of green cover, and parks for walks during the evening. There are good schools, hospitals, and markets in easy reach, and the metro connectivity makes traveling throughout Delhi hassle-free. Local markets such as Paschim Vihar Market and malls close by offer everyday convenience, and the surrounding has a friendly, community-like atmosphere. Negatives: On the flip side, traffic at busy roads becomes heavy during rush hours, and some of the older lanes get waterlogged during monsoons. These are minor drawbacks otherwise, as I absolutely love staying here. The peaceful atmosphere, safety, and proximity to basic services make Paschim Vihar an excellent destination to live in with the family.
Positives: There are plenty of upsides to living here. It’s arguably West Delhi’s most posh locality, and you will see this with your eyes as you see the Western side. The Eastern side, built by the DDA, is also decent enough. The Outer Ring Road is the main connectivity lifeline here with the metro. The Paschim Vihar West metro station is very close to my house, and that’s why I invested here. The Jwala Heri Market is also quite close by. Negatives: Costs are on the higher side, and lifestyle costs have gone up over the years. That’s the only thing I can think of. Also, too many private builders are coming into the picture.
Positives: I enjoyed the fact that basic amenities were very good there were good schools nearby like DAV, St. Froebel, Bal Bharati and hospitals like Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute were accessible within reasonable time. Jwala Heri Market for daily needy products. The area had good road connectivity to nearby areas, and public transport (metro / bus) was acceptable. Negatives: What troubled me usually was waterlogging in rains several roads and streets of Paschim Vihar. Drainage and open drains became clogged and smelly. Sometimes there were irregular water supplies or water quality was not always good. Traffic congestion, particularly near busy markets and metro/road junctions, irritated me. Also, older buildings lacked parking shortages.
Positives: I opted for Paschim Vihar mainly due to the connectivity being great for Delhi. With two Metro stations, such as Paschim Vihar West and East, on the Green Line, travelling anywhere is so convenient. In addition to that, we have massive parks, all the major hospitals like Sehgal Neo close by. Moreover, the Jwala Heri Market fulfils all our shopping needs close by. It is very much established, well-planned, and safe, which is a huge relief. Negatives: The area has standard Delhi issues. The worst one is the traffic during peak hours on major roads. It is bumper-to-bumper and produces a lot of noise and pollution, particularly close to the Outer Ring Road crossing. Moreover, in a few of the inner blocks, local waste management and sanitation can be far better.
Positives: The area welcomes me with green avenues and easy city connectivity. I have a house in this area and benefit from good metro connectivity (Paschim Vihar East/West on the Green Line) and regular buses to Janakpuri and Najafgarh. The District Centre market, schools, clinics and parks are within immediate reach, making day-to-day shopping easy. Resale value is good, and property prices are stable. Negatives: I noticed some lanes getting waterlogged in heavy monsoon rain, and drainage is slow. Also, areas close to main roads are noisy in comparison with inner blocks. In spite of all these disadvantages, the safety of the neighbourhood, amenities and transport connections make it a pleasant place to have a home, and a welcoming community spirit generally as well.
Positives: The most positive aspect of this place is the connectivity—it's properly connected by the Western Railway line, and with the soon-to-be-launched Metro Line 2, traveling around the city will be even more convenient. Day-to-day living here is extremely comfortable because everything is within reach. I also enjoy the greenery and space around; there are quite a number of parks where families can unwind and kids can play. The place is safe as well, with constant policing at night, and the residents here are friendly and hospitable. Negatives: The only minor problem is traffic jams during rush hour, but really, that comes with living in Mumbai. Overall, Borivali West provides me with a balanced lifestyle of comfort, safety, and convenience.
Positives: I can inform all of you, it is a good option. The connectivity is excellent with the metro and major roads, making it easy to move around. There is so much greenery with all these parks, and you have everything you require here, from the large Jwala Heri market to fine hospitals and schools. It's extremely self-sufficient, high-end, and family-friendly in its feel. Negatives Now, on the negative side, it's not entirely perfect. The traffic, particularly in the area around the market, is a nightmare. Other than that, I have observed that there are sanitation problems in certain areas, and the footpaths are encroached on by vendors. Additionally, mosquitoes can be a serious issue, particularly in some months, which is definitely a downer.
Positives: From the time I spent there, I'd guess Paschim Vihar was quite a good area. I enjoyed how well it was linked to the rest of the city, particularly the Outer Ring Road and Rohtak Road being right there. We had all we required. The bazaars, such as Jwala Heri, were excellent for shopping, and it was wonderful to have such a lot of parks and open spaces to take a stroll. I always thought that it was a clean and safe zonea. Negatives: But of course, no location is ideal. My main complaint was the traffic, particularly rush hour, which could be a complete disaster. The streets got horribly clogged, and it became difficult to move around at times. I also remember the mosquito issue being a nuisance, especially in specific months.
Positives: I have lived in a house in Paschim Vihar for years now, and I can assure you it is an amazing area to reside. The locality is highly connected with the Outer Ring Road and metro points at both Paschim Vihar East and West. It helps me to travel easily across the city. We possess very good schools and hospitals, so you don't have to venture far for anything consequential. On top of that, the Jawala Heri market is a one-stop market for everything you'll ever need. The area is filled with gardens and parks and thus has a peaceful, serene atmosphere. Negatives: The one thing that concerns me is the mosquito problem during certain months due to the proximity of drains.
Positives: It is surely one of the best places in West Delhi. As an agent, I have observed many clients satisfied with Paschim Vihar. There is good connectivity here, with both the Outer Ring Road and the Green Line of the Metro making it convenient to move around. The social infrastructure is also first-class, with great schools, medical centers such as Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute, and the renowned Jwala Heri Market all within easy distance. The sheer number of parks and green areas is a major plus. Also, it is a very family-oriented neighborhood. Negatives: Still, at times, the supply of electricity tends to be a little problematic with frequent power outages.
Positives: I adore Paschim Vihar. The Metro (Paschim Vihar West & East) and the DTC bus stop make my commute to the office convenient. Jwala Heri market, Pacific Mall and numerous shops result in groceries and dining out being convenient. Good schools like The Heritage and Mount Abu and hospitals like Maharaja Agrasen are in proximity, and parks provide open space. Negatives: There are poor waste management in some roads and streets. Parents can be worried by street dogs, and there are very small flats.
Positives: Paschim Vihar is a very good place acording to my perception. It is planned as, green area with good schools such as The Heritage and Mount Abu, hospitals in the vicinity. The markets like Jwala Heri and Pacific Mall are close to my residence. Metro stops (East & West), DTC bus stop, Outer Ring Road, and others make travel convenient. Clean roads contribute to a peaceful life. Negatives: There is no direct metro in certain areas, intermittent sanitation problems, and market crowding is inconvenient.
Positives: I stay in Paschim Vihar. It's a planned West Delhi neighbourhood with broad roads, parks, schools, hospitals, and convenient metro connectivity. Daily shopping is easy with nearby markets and malls, and it is safe and residential-feeling. Negatives: Peak hours see traffic congestion rise, certain older roads require improved drainage, and waterlogging occurs from time to time during the monsoon.
Positives: I like how well linked Paschim Vihar is to the rest of Delhi. The large number of schools, hospitals, restaurants, and parks makes it a very convenient and comfortable place to reside for my family. Negatives: I wish the traffic weren't so heavy, particularly during rush hour. The absence of maintance of some roads within the area is also an issue.
