SMC Launches Hydrology Study to Tackle Creek Overflow and Flooding

The Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has launched a hydrology survey to address flooding caused by overflowing creeks. The study will develop a detailed 3D model using LiDAR technology and drone-mounted cameras to map creek courses, identify obstructions, and document encroachments and waste accumulation.
