Negatives: Walking at night felt hazardous. The internal lanes were often badly illuminated. Another problem was the great drawdown of groundwater, which resulted in regular water outages. The drainage system was poor, resulting in horrible waterlogging on the streets every time the monsoon rains struck hard.
