Positives: Being an owner here in Dwarka is wonderful. It really seems like a structured contemporary sub-city. Along the sub-city, broad primary highways, and mostly safe DDA/CGHS communities, we have great metro accessibility. With top colleges and hospitals like Manipal close by plus the sheer volume of green areas in the areas makes it a tranquil and family-friendly place to reside, the social infrastructure is excellent.
NegativeNegatives: Damage to the internal sector roads and footpaths causes bothersome potholes and unequal surfaces requiring frequent repair. The quality of the water supply can also be erratic in some spots. Ultimately better noise pollution regulation is needed.
Asia's largest, wholly planned sub-city that is, wide roads and vast open areas a very distinct feature is the main USP. Though not central, the Dwarka Sector 21 Metro Station connects the Blue Line and the Airport Express, therefore enabling me easy access to Aerocity and IGI. Rent here is thankfully rather reasonable for the quality of life. With great locations like Vegas Mall and famous schools like DPS close by, the neighbourhood feels very safe. My only two crucial gaps are the erratic last-mile transportation within the vast areas and the urgent need of better maintenance and consistent waste management services for many of the older DDA market blocks. I strongly advise this.
Positives: I very much enjoy the scheduled ambiance of Dwarka; it helps me feel safe and at ease. I chose it since stations along the Blue and Grey lines everywhere offer great Metro connections. Though it is not central, getting to the IGI Airport and surrounding corporate centers is simple. Nearby, several excellent schools and facilities like Venkateshwar Hospital abound. DDA parks and wide sectors maintain its green. Rent here is fair, offering good value.
NegativeNegatives: There remain, however, three areas requiring attention. In several areas, traffic signal management is bad, hence resulting in exasperating delays. Better organisation is required for parking outside of the major communities, which is getting to be a nightmare. Though Dwarka is often secure, the street lighting in some residential alleyways is weak, which could seem somewhat dangerous late at night.
Believe me, I labor every day in this zone! Dwarka is the perfect place right now because its primary selling point is strategically designed infrastructure. Though not exactly centrally positioned, it is a self-sufficient center with unparalleled connectivity. Having quick access via the Blue and Magenta Metro routes means you are minutes from the IGI Airport, a major advantage for frequent travelers. Customers adore the residential feel, lush parks, and excellent rental returns available here. We have everything: top-notch local schools, Manipal Hospital, and the brand-new Vegas Mall. Although safety is usually excellent, certain internal zones call for enhanced street lighting. I think the only two areas for improvement are developing additional public parking and dealing with seasonal waterlogging. It is a five-star recommendation that is simple.
Positives: The sector based planning eased navigation, and the spacious roads were a solace from the traffic everywhere else. Most of all was the amazing Metro connectivity. I could fast reach almost every Delhi location. Like Manipal and Venkateshwar, super specialization hospitals and good institutions made me really feel at ease.
NegativeNegatives: The quality of the municipal water supply in the outlying areas constantly caused us worry. Though there were numerous routes, local traffic during rush hour was getting intolerable especially close to big markets. Poor street lighting in back streets decreased overall nocturnal feeling of security, and many inner sector roads needed attention.
Positives: First option for me was Dwarka's superb networking and well-defined architecture. Accessible through the Blue and Airport Express metro lines, South-West Delhi was the location of this project. Good schools, the Vegas Mall, and Manipal Hospital guaranteed closeness of essential services. Particularly appealing to me were the pocket parks and wide roadways. Given the contemporary amenities, the neighbourhood felt cheap and my general experience was rather pleasant.
NegativeNegatives: Internal sector roads maintenance frequently lagged. Months were needed to repair holes and patches. The abundant hard water supply was more irritating. It was bad enough that daily use called for specialized filtering systems, which led to ongoing plumbing problems.
Positives: The site is exceptional. While the Violet Line links to Nehru Place and makes the city accessible, the Yellow Line offers flawless connectivity by visiting stations such Green Park and Hauz Khas. With nearby local treasures such as GK M-Block Market, Select City walk makes shopping easy. AIIMS offers first-rate health care. Schools like DPS R.K. Puram are really first-rate. This lovely, verdant, and extremely safe area is one I strongly endorse.
NegativeNegatives: Two issues, nevertheless, merit consideration. The continual traffic jam on main highways during peak times and the demand for more stringent street cleanliness and waste management in commercial areas. This is the ideal venue for home ownership.
A high-value, premium area feels more like a quiet suburb than Delhi. The unique sector planning with neat, broad streets is really lovely and exceptional. With the Airport Express Metro link, connectivity is a huge advantage. Whether seeing a movie at Pacific D21 Mall or using the excellent amenities at Venkateshwar International School for the children, we frequently benefit from them. I feel very at ease and glad in this safe. My top experience here is the continually outstanding rental yield we get. For any potential homeowner seeking assured growth, I would advise this region. The only missing is the frequent upkeep of some inner service roads, which ought to be improved to be on par with the main sector roads.
Positives: Being a premium, well-designed neighbourhood, Dwarka feels like an organised little metropolis. The stations along the Blue Line, Sector 10 and Sector 12, make it simple to travel for job. I truly adore those stations. Vegas Mall is always lively for a wonderful night out or shopping; knowing Manipal Hospital is close provides great security. The many, green areas add to the great beauty and safety of the neighborhood. For the quality of life it presents, it's an excellent location.
NegativeNegatives: First of all, the rental fees are really expensive, which makes it hard to justify the price for modest flats. Second, the great quantity of peak-hour traffic on the major road intersections causes annoying, needless daily delays. The neatly kept parks are still what I most love. In Delhi, it is a real green lung.
I have been living in Dwarka for several years now and since the time I first moved to this locality, it has changed so much. I have seen it develop into a posh locality and some of the sectors are pretty expensive now. But you will also find affordable yet decent residential properties in this locality. Water logging is sadly still an issue that we have to deal with to date. However, altogether this place is beautifully planned and offers a standard lifestyle.
When I used to live in Dwarka for work I used the metro and the well-equipped amenities and connectivity make it an appropriate choice. Dwarka is connected by the Blue Line of Metro which I found very convenient for daily commuting. Even the roadway connections and bus services are so useful to people who travel daily. At that time I did not own a car but never faced difficulties while travelling to my workplace.
While it has very good city connectivity and metro railway facilities, traffic is a major problem. The locality is very crowded and I think the streets are very narrow, making it difficult for daily commuting. However, the locality is very close to the Delhi International Airport and has good access to hospitals, educational institutes, and shopping malls, as well as convenient bus services, and therefore, my overall experience is good.
I rented an apartment in Dwarka, New Delhi recently and I like it here. Since I am a fitness enthusiast, this neighborhood is apt for me. The DDA sports complex in Sector 11 comes with several facilities including tennis, badminton, cricket, Snooker, Volleyball, multi gym as well as a jogging track. You can visit several attractions in Dwarka including the Dwarka Baoli, built in the 16th century.
It’s been a while since I started living in Dwarka, New Delhi and overall, my experience is very good. It is a very good neighborhood in terms of environment, commuting, places of interest, and so on. The neighborhood is also good in terms of safety. It is very close to the metro railway station, which is ideal for daily commuting to work and school. It is perfect for my family.
