Lucknow Municipal Corporation's ₹350 Crore Drainage Overhaul Project

LMC has prepared a ₹350-crore urban flood management project to overhaul the city's drainage infrastructure and address recurring waterlogging issues. The project includes replacing old pumping stations with modern facilities, constructing new ones, automating existing stations, and rejuvenating 14 ponds to increase rainwater storage capacity.

Lucknow Boosts Infrastructure with Rs 266 Crore Civic Development Plan

LDA has approved a comprehensive package of 120 projects totaling Rs 266 crore to enhance urban infrastructure, public amenities, tourism, and emergency response. Lucknow-Kanpur Rapid Rail and Outer Ring Road Planned for State Capital Region

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced plans for a rapid rail corridor connecting Lucknow, Unnao, and Kanpur, modeled after the Delhi-Meerut RRTS. Additionally, an outer ring road will link key districts in the proposed State Capital Region, including Lucknow, Unnao, Sitapur, Hardoi, Barabanki, and Rae Bareli.

Dubagga Intersection Flyover Project Approved to Ease Traffic Congestion

A three-lane flyover, measuring 1,811.72 meters, will be constructed at the Dubagga intersection on the Lucknow-Hardoi route at a cost of ₹305.31 crore. This project has received cabinet approval and is expected to significantly ease congestion at this major traffic hub in Lucknow.

Railway Multitracking Project to Enhance Connectivity to Bareilly

The Union Cabinet has approved two major railway multitracking projects worth ₹24,815 crore, which will add approximately 601 km to the railway network. One of these projects, the Ghaziabad–Sitapur 3rd and 4th line (403 km), will improve connectivity across industrial centers including Ghaziabad, Moradabad, and Bareilly.
