    The railway access was a great benefit. The stations on the Seawoods Uran line at Kharkopar and Bamandongri provided great commuting. Though the multi-speciality medical infrastructure required more scaling, decent amenities like Radcliffe School and Feenixx Hospital backed up my experience. Though entertainment choices were growing, the near proximity to the soon-to-be Navi Mumbai International Airport was enticing. The recurring water supply inconsistency in some areas and the absence of a large, centrally positioned supermarket for simple bulk buying, which was a regular letdown, were what I found issues. This region best captured the intended future of Navi Mumbai.

Simplifying my daily commute greatly, the Kharkopar station is only a few minutes away. This is the ideal, quiet home. Establishing a large, centrally located hypermarket for daily bulk shopping, however, is one facility I think has to be improved going forward.

This will be the next major central centre thanks to the MTHL connection and future Navi Mumbai International Airport. Thanks to the Ulwe Railway Station and the Nerul-Uran Rail Line, connectivity is already excellent. Radcliffe School and Feenixx Hospital nearby and the upcoming Metro Line 8 would further improve transportation. One big advantage in this calm and secure neighbourhood is that rent remains delightfully reasonable here. For everyday necessities, though, we really need more local shopping marts and varied eateries. Also, some inner roads demand better street illumination for better night-time safety.

Ulwe is about 33 Kms away from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja International Airport and is connected via Bangalore-Mumbai Highway.     Positives: The deliberate, tranquil setting of Ulwe was really appealing to me. Even though I lived here a while ago, the new Seawoods–Uran suburban rail line with stations like Bamandongri made traveling surprisingly easy. It always seemed safe, and the proximity to the forthcoming airport promised great development. We had access to Radcliffe School and Feenixx Hospital, both of which adequately met our daily needs.

    Negatives: The sheer quantity of dust and mud from ongoing construction and infrastructural development everywhere was the worst let-down. I also objected at the small number of excellent shopping malls and big entertainment venues; we had to go far for that. Moreover, the interior road parking seemed very cramped and confused.
