The 35 km corridor, estimated to cost Rs 20,000 crore, will begin underground at CSMIA, surface near Chembur, and continue elevated through Mankhurd, Vashi, Nerul, Belapur, and NMIA. An additional 8.5 km loop is proposed to connect Seawoods with NMIA.

Phase 1 will have the capacity to handle 20 million passengers annually, eventually expanding to four terminals and two runways for 90 million passengers per year. IndiGo and Akasa Air are confirmed to operate from NMIA at launch. Images of the under-construction airport have surfaced, showcasing its lotus-inspired design and spacious terminals. The Mahayuti government delayed the inauguration due to pitru paksha, considering September 30 an auspicious date. The airport will be accessible via road, rail, and water transport, including the Atal Setu.

The railway access was a great benefit. The stations on the Seawoods Uran line at Kharkopar and Bamandongri provided great commuting. Though the multi-speciality medical infrastructure required more scaling, decent amenities like Radcliffe School and Feenixx Hospital backed up my experience. Though entertainment choices were growing, the near proximity to the soon-to-be Navi Mumbai International Airport was enticing. The recurring water supply inconsistency in some areas and the absence of a large, centrally positioned supermarket for simple bulk buying, which was a regular letdown, were what I found issues. This region best captured the intended future of Navi Mumbai.

Connectivity is already excellent with the Ulwe Railway Station, and the approaching MTHL link to Mumbai will change everything. It's a calm, planned neighbourhood with expanding amenities like reputable colleges and local shopping options. My investment and its great growth prospects make me really pleased; it is surely a top location in development. Owning here is something I advise. The one thing requiring faster growth of quality multi-speciality healthcare facilities within the node would be the need for improved.

Positives: I relocated to Ulwe mostly for cheap rates and a job close to the new airport. Soon, I believe the airport and the projected subway connections will simplify travel. Buses go to Panvel and Belapur; the nearest local trains require a quick drive. Daily stores and clinics are relatively accessible; larger hospitals are in Nerul and Vashi. Malls are still not inside Ulwe, so for great shopping I travel to Seawoods or Vashi.

Negatives: I believe there are lovely views of wetlands and water, but they must be preserved. I would say the region is cheap but fast changing. I believe unauthorised slaughter and waste disposal near sensitive areas have to stop. General I am optimistic about residing here.

Positives: Living in Ulwe makes me really happy. The lake promenade close to Sector 20, where I evening walks, is my preferred meeting spot. Calm and future development come first for me. The primary benefits are the upgraded road connections and the newly built Navi Mumbai International Airport in Ulwe. Linking Ulwe to Belapur and Panvel are metro and local bus routes. Good clinics and expanding schools are under short drives. One drive from Seawoods and Vashi brings you to large malls. I enjoy the spaciousness and recent communities. As the region grows, rental demand rises and returns seem good.

Negatives: Still, I am concerned about building waste and some nearby future civic cleanliness problems. More credible hospitals nearby also appeal to me.
