Metro Line 8 Approved to Connect Mumbai and Navi Mumbai Airports

The Maharashtra cabinet has approved the Metro Line 8 project, a 35-kilometer corridor designed to provide direct metro connectivity between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) and Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). The project, estimated to cost ₹22,862 crore, will feature 20 stations, with a 9.25 km underground section and a 24.636 km elevated section.

It has only been a few months since I left Sanpada for work and I had so many good memories. The locality was excellent and provided good connectivity as well. Not only was it close to shopping malls, hospitals, and educational institutes, but we also had good access to banks and ATMs as well. Frequent police patrolling was among many other things I liked about living in Sanpada. I had no complaints.

After renting an apartment in Sanpada, my lifestyle improved. Service centers, grocery stores, food stores, clothing stores, and footwear stores, are in close vicinity. Furthermore, there are three mega-malls-Jio Mart, Inorbit, and Raghuleela Mall- close to my neighborhood, adding to the convenience of the local people. The locality is home to reputed schools, hospitals, clinics, medical stores, and so on. So far, I have not faced any kind of hygiene issues.

Living in Sanpada for several years, I can say the locality is very convenient. Sanpada is popular in terms of environment, connectivity, lifestyle and safety. The local people have good access to public transport, and there is an easy availability of cabs and autos. There are many schools nearby along with other reputed educational institutes. There are many markets in the locality at a walking distance and the roads are well-maintained.

The area has a very good neighborhood, and it is great in terms of environment, connectivity, commuting, and the place has a good infrastructure. The only issues I have faced in Sanpada are that the area has no metro connectivity and it has frequent parking issues. Besides, the roads are very well-maintained and there are no traffic jams nearby. There are many markets within walking distance. Overall, I am satisfied.

Being an owner living in Sanpada, I can say I have a very good experience. The railway stations and bus stations are only a few minutes away from the area where I live and commuting has never been an issue for me. However, I have come across frequent parking issues because there are too many private cars. Other than this, the locality is very convenient and safe.
