Metro Line 8 Approved to Connect Mumbai and Navi Mumbai Airports

The Maharashtra cabinet has approved the Metro Line 8 project, a 35-kilometer corridor designed to provide direct metro connectivity between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) and Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). The project, estimated to cost ₹22,862 crore, will feature 20 stations, with a 9.25 km underground section and a 24.636 km elevated section.

Since I used lived in Juinagar, Navi Mumbai for several years before I moved to Mumbai recently, I can tell you that this is a typical residential area with all amenities at your reach. The station is about 10 minutes away and public transports are easily available. There is no water shortage, no power cuts, low pollution, and ample parking spaces in this locality.

As a tenant living here for quite a few years, I can assert that the locality of Juinagar, Navi Mumbai has good public transport, well-maintained roads, good traffic condition, easy availability of auto and cab, and markets at walking distance. The D-Mart shopping mall is only 1 kilometer away from my home. The railway station is only a few kilometers away and can be reached by auto.

As a resident of Juinagar, Navi Mumbai, I can tell you that I am quite happy about living here. The foremost thing about this locality is the easy commute because of its proximity to the Sion-Panvel highway. The Trans-Harbour station and Rail Transport Juinagar is also very close to the locality. Next, Vashi is only 5 kilometers away from the locality that connects to shopping complexes, malls, and the Khau Galli.

Juinagar, Navi Mumbai is a good place to live in which has all the basic and necessary amenities nearby. My apartment is near the fruit market and also close to the station. Specialist doctors are also available near the neighborhood. However, what I find difficult is the poor Wifi and cable connectivity which causes disruptions at times.

I am a permanent resident of Juinagar, Navi Mumbai and I am very happy with the hygiene and facilities of this locality. The neighborhoods are beautiful and surrounded by large gardens and green areas. The buzzy markets and bustling areas keep the locality alive. I am quite surprised by the fact that this locality still does not have a good hospital and one has to travel to Vashi or CBD or Nerul to find a hospital.
