Several major banks have their branches in Sion while shopping malls like the Croma Mall, RM Shopping Centre, High Street Phoenix, Atria The Millennium Mall and SC Shopping Centre are also well connected to the area.There are several recreational zones near the locality including Shivaji Park, Dadar Club, Gateway of India, Dadar Beach, Snow World and Kala Ghoda.
