Negatives:
Traffic jam & road congestion is a true phenomenon. WEH and Akurli roads become severely congested during peak hours. Monsoon & waterlogging are problematic in certain low lying areas, drainage in some sectors requires serious upgradation. Also, occasionally utility disruptions like gas or water happen, making problematic.

The region has structured townships such as Thakur Village and Lokhandwala shopping, excellent schools, hospitals and quite reasonable housing relative to central suburbs, so everyday life is easy and family-friendly. Regular bus routes, convenient road access and numerous neighbourhood malls make chores a breeze.

There are some negative aspects, such as heavy traffic during rush hours and infrequent waterlogging during the monsoon. Despite all that, I am a highly contented resident. Friendly neighbours, developing facilities and functional prices make Kandivali East feel like home. I love living here each and every day.
