Lucknow is undergoing significant transformation with many infrastructure projects. Commercial flight operations began at Noida International Airport on June 15, 2026, with the inaugural IndiGo flight originating from Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. This new air route is expected to significantly enhance connectivity between Noida and Lucknow, offering a more efficient travel option.

Emaar India has launched 'Emaar Elite Oasis,' a luxury residential project in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. These developments, spread over 385 acres, are expected to attract ₹10,000 crore in investment and create thousands of jobs, particularly in Mohanlalganj and Sarojininagar tehsils. Additionally, 1,100 EWS homes will be built in Sharda Nagar .
