Lucknow Municipal has introduced new, tiered mutation fees based on house size, which will reduce the cost for small homeowners. Houses up to 1,000 sq ft will incur a fee of ₹1,000, with fees increasing for larger properties, capped at ₹5,000 for houses over 3,000 sq ft. Previously, a flat ₹5,000 was charged for all properties

LMC has prepared a ₹350-crore urban flood management project to overhaul the city's drainage infrastructure and address recurring waterlogging issues. The project includes replacing old pumping stations with modern facilities, constructing new ones, automating existing stations, and rejuvenating 14 ponds to increase rainwater storage capacity.

In compliance with a high court directive, Lucknow Traffic Police has identified 153 locations along the Ayodhya Road, specifically the Polytechnic-Chinhat corridor and adjoining roads, that require traffic, road-safety, and infrastructure interventions. A joint inspection by traffic police and civic departments is underway to assess the feasibility of proposed measures.
