Outstanding local facilities included St. Xavier's College and top hospitals such Belle Vue Clinic. But my letdown was the ancient infrastructure. During torrential monsoon rains, the century-old drainage system continually caused severe waterlogging, which was a great annoyance. It was the ideal spot in the city for an energetic urban life even though the price was high.
