Severe waterlogging during the rainy season and the obvious closeness of slums like Bibibagan, which occasionally lowers the exclusive character of the area, are the two primary problems.

    Positives: A while ago I lived in Ulwe, and I sensed that a location about to explode. The best thing was the strategic position and future possibility made possible by the Trans-Harbour Link and the new Navi Mumbai International Airport. With Kharkopar and Bamandongri rail stations working, the connection seemed very good. Affordable rental choices were available in the area, which also had Radcliffe School nearby growing, drawing young families and generating significant rental demand.

    Negatives: But every day I struggled with the continuous, intense noise pollution, especially late at night. Additionally, I had higher expectations for maintenance of the smaller internal streets and civic cleanliness. The older apartment complexes' water storage capacity was always lacking and urgently required modification.

Within minutes of Camac Street and Chowringhee's main businesses are great hospitals like Belle Vue and schools like La Martiniere. Here, rental costs and property values never drop.

    Positives: Park Street's selection was based on energy and access. Being in the core of the city meant that every necessity was nearby, from St. Xavier's to big hospitals like Belle Vue Clinic. The cultural pulse and high security were what I appreciated the most. The devoted Park Street Metro station offered a smooth city link. Although it surely wasn't an inexpensive place, the lifestyle seemed worth the premium as it provided very comfortable living.

    Negatives: The century-old drainage system often fought, which resulted in significant waterlogging during the strong monsoon rains. This had always been a great disruption. We also noticed road subsidence caused by aging sewer line leaks, which resulted in erratic, large-scale excavations and repair work.

Particularly with the central location, the area feels very safe and alive. The neighbourhood spirit is strong.

    Negatives: During the extreme wet season, we experience terrible waterlogging and the internal roadways going towards Park. For drivers, circus still have potholes that present a real safety issue.
