AP Government has approved Phase 1 of the City Roads Improvement Program (CRIP) for Vijayawada, allocating Rs 171.14 crore for the upgrade of 23.54 kilometers of priority urban corridors ,addressing issues like road re-laying, weak junctions, and waterlogging. Additionally, land acquisition issues in the villages of the Andhra Pradesh capital region are nearing completion, with legal complications cleared for Lanka (Delta) lands.

Vijayawada's real estate market shows a robust pipeline of new developments, with over 400 pre-launch and upcoming projects listed. These include residential apartments and villas across various localities, catering to different budget segments.
