Then there is also the Pallavaram railway and bus networks, while the metro phase II is also anticipated to come up soon. The locality is home to several hospitals like Deepam and KM, along with schools like Alpha, supermarkets, stores, ATMs, and more. In fact, I was awestruck when I learnt that the area has a historic past, with several Paleolithic Age artifacts found here. The Pallavaram Hill is the place to visit for viewing the ancient temples and monuments, while the bustling Friday market has functioned from the 1800s! The only issue here is water contamination at times and drainage problems.

My one desire was to have more green spaces constructed, as the place itself was a bit short on parks relative to other suburbs of Chennai. Also, the overall air quality could be better due to proximity to industries.
