Positives: I enjoyed its peaceful, green ambiance. The huge Yelahanka Lake and numerous parks provided me with pleasant morning strolls, with schools and hospitals in the vicinity. The locality boasted good railway and bus connectivity, with the airport and Outer Ring Road easily accessible, making commuting easy. Housing was perceived to be more affordable compared to central Bangalore, and new residential complexes were in sight. Neighbors were friendly and local bazaars provided fresh fruits and convenience as well. Negatives: The cons were three that I observed. First, the peak-hour traffic around the junctions was sluggish. Secondly, some of the older enclaves had uneven civic maintenance and periodic waterlogging during rains. Thirdly, nightlife and shopping choices were limited versus the central areas. In spite of these shortcomings, I departed with peaceful memories.

Positives: Having lakes such as Puttenahalli, Allalasandra and so on provides genuine breathing room in contrast to city center tension. New Town Public School, National Public Schools are the best and hospitals nearby, which makes family life easy. Airport Road, NH-44, proximity to Kempegowda International Airport is a major plus. The combination of new residential projects means you have more space for your home. Negatives: First, the traffic is terrible during peak hours particularly near the flyover work, Police Station-NES stretch, and Old Yelahanka Road towards the airport. Those congestion can try your patience. Secondly, water supply is never regular, particularly in certain pockets and in summer; also streetlights are uneven in older neighborhoods.

Positives: I have recently moved to Yelahanka, and I like the peaceful and green surroundings here. It has several parks and lakes around, so it is very refreshing for morning walks. Schools and hospitals are nearby, and I find it easy to commute to the airport or other areas in Bangalore due to the good road connectivity. It is available at low rentals, and a peaceful neighborhood is making it a good place to live in the short term. Negatives: Conversely, being distant from downtown Bangalore can be exhausting for everyday city travel. Hebbal flyover traffic jams are a regular feature, and the water supply is occasionally erratic. Metro connectivity is still lacking, nightlife is scarce, and shopping is limited. Despite these drawbacks, greenery and peaceful atmosphere contribute to the homeliness of Yelahanka.
