About Yelahanka

Yelahanka, , is a suburb older than Bengaluru, located 14 km from the city centre. Yelahanka is situated on the citys northern outskirts near the airport. Home to the Air Force Station, BSF camp, and CRPF base, this town was earlier only known for the Aero show and has become a critical real estate destination of Bengaluru city.

This town was once the capital of the Hoysala kingdom and was known as Elavanka.
