Earth Sapphire Court Knowledge Park II Greater Noida, Greater Noida

Earth Sapphire Court, a commercial project in Greater Noida, was officially launched on 07-Oct-2010. The project is located in Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, approximately 2 km from the Noida Greater Noida Expressway and 0.5 km from Surajpur Kasna Road.

Earth Infrastructures Ltd announced the launch of Earth Tech One and Earth Studios at Greater Noida, and Earth Copia at Gurgaon, following the success of Earth Towne and Earth Sapphire Court in Greater Noida. Vikas Gupta, director of Earth Infrastructures, expressed optimism about meeting the needs of target consumers with these new launches.

Earth Sapphire Court was expected to be completed by December 31, 2018. The project covers 5.17 acres and is registered under RERA No. UPRERAPRJ9887.

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved the resolution plan from Alpha Corp Development for Earth Infrastructure on June 8, 2021. The Committee of Creditors (CoC) of Earth Infrastructure had voted in favor of Alpha Corp with a majority of 99 percent. The resolution plan included Earth Sapphire Court.

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) declined the plea of a batch of homebuyers who challenged the NCLT's approval of Alpha Corp Development's bid to acquire debt-ridden realty firm Earth Infrastructure. The three projects, including Earth Sapphire Court, comprised approximately 4.5 million square feet and were launched between 2010 and 2012 but not completed on time.

Homebuyers from 16 housing societies in Greater Noida West protested against delayed registry of their flats, alleging a nexus between the builder and the authority. They claimed that their demands have not been heard for over a decade and that promises made by political leaders during elections were not fulfilled.

NCLAT set aside the plan approval order of NCLT and ordered to start a fresh process on the company inviting fresh resolution plans for revival of the projects.

Homebuyers at the Hemisphere housing project in Greater Noida's sector 27 protested against the developer's six-year delay in delivering their units. Construction has been halted for the past six years, and the developer has yet to promise when the project will be completed.

The Supreme Court asked the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) to submit a proposal for grievance redressal and imposed Rs 5 lakh cost on it for failing to file a timely response. The court was hearing appeals related to the insolvency proceedings of Earth Infrastructure, where approximately 2,900 units were to be developed across projects including Earth Sapphire Court.

The Supreme Court has reserved the final judgment on the Earth Sapphire Court case on January 17, 2026. The case involves a challenged resolution plan by Alpha Corp Development and dues to the Greater Noida Authority.

The Noida Authority filed an FIR against Amrapali Sapphire housing society for violating environmental regulations, including a non-functional Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and imposed a penalty of ₹73 lakh. The action was taken after an inspection revealed the STP was not operational, leading to untreated wastewater being dumped into storm water drains.
