I picked it for its great proximity to the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport and the surrounding Sector V tech buildings. High security from intelligent surveillance and great recreational opportunities like Eco Park and City Centre 2 are among the main advantages. Connectivity is simple, particularly with the coming Tech Plaza Metro Station area and already excellent healthcare such as the Tata Medical Centre and schools like Delhi Public School. Compared to central Kolkata, rents here are not particularly high. Many internal service roads need more maintenance, and the total volume of local grocery stores is small, therefore reliance on larger malls for daily shopping is necessary.

For both investment and living, I always believe Rajarhat New Town is among the most contemporary and promising Kolkata neighborhoods. Wide roads, smart city design, and planned infrastructure distinguish this area and provide a flawless mix of residential comfort with economic development. East Kolkata is home to this with great access through Biswa Bangla Sarani, airport road, and the upcoming Metro Line 6. It is close to prominent hospitals like Tata Medical Center and schools like Delhi Public School. Malls like City Centre 2 and Axis Mall offer amazing comfort. With close access to IT clusters in Action Area I & II, high rental demand makes it safe, environmentally friendly, and perfect for professionals. More nightlife venues and public parking spaces might help it even further.

Rajarhat here saw great appreciation. New Town is a wise, first-class investment. Its uniqueness resides in the modern planning and excellent infrastructure, which makes it far better than older sections of Kolkata. It is ideally situated close to Salt Lake and the airport; future Metro Line 6 with stops near Eco Park will cause home value to soar. With first-rate facilities like Axis Mall and excellent schools, this region is safe, gorgeous, and offers great education. Low-maintenance, high rental yield fascinates me. The sole thing I wish would get better is the lack of readily available, classic fresh produce markets in some areas. It makes us have to rely on only bigger stores.

Positives: Certainly a prime region, this is the modern new hub of Kolkata. Like Sector V, the close proximity to the IT industry transforms it into a major center of commerce. Nearby are outstanding amenities like Delhi Public School and Tata Medical Center. Particularly with the future Metro expansion and quick access to the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, connectivity is excellent.

Negatives: Though the highways are broad, traffic on the main arterial roads during rush hours is a daily nuisance that has to be more effectively controlled. I also believe the local authorities should pay particular attention to enhancing the cleanliness of the market areas as well as the inner approach roads.

Positives: Here moving was the wisest choice. It actually seemed like a clever metropolis. The leisure areas such City Centre 2 and Eco Park were quite appealing. Given the access to IT centres, living here felt quite economical and pleasant.

Negatives: The rapid pace of development occasionally led to construction noise that was impossible to avoid in residential areas. Late at night, the last-mile connection from the main hubs to the particular residential developments frequently depended on local, unorganized choices, which might be difficult.

Positives: The Biswa Bangla Sarani and Newtown Expressway make travelling easy. The Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport is only minutes away. Shopping benefits from City Centre 2 and Axis Mall as saviours. Large organisations like Tata Medical Center take care of medical needs. Schools like DPS Newtown and Amity University provide parents comfort. It's a really intelligent and independent centre. My favourite weekend escape is Eco Park. Smart surveillance makes the area really secure and welcoming. The connection will be considerably improved with the next Metro line expansion.

Negatives: Still, better last-mile public transit from main bus stops and more local market alternatives other than the large malls would be certainly welcome.

Negatives: Two issues, though, must be rapidly addressed. Daily annoyance comes from the volume of construction dust generated from current projects, particularly in Action Area II. Furthermore uncontrolled and rather costly can be local auto-rickshaws. The safe, green surroundings seen in every block are what I love most.

In certain areas traffic increases as some local roads are still under development. Thirdly, even while the area is mostly safe, there have been complaints about smaller local markets and a few poorly lit roadways at night so I tread a little carefully after darkness.
