Currently residing in Vasant Vihar. The sophisticated green here is just exquisite. Daily traveller of Vasant Vihar metro station. My experiences with affluent markets and security make my family very glad. My recommendations address the excessive maintenance expenses as well as the inadequate evening street lights. Life feels premium.

I am quite pleased with having a house in this elegant neighborhood. With the magenta Line metro, my daily commute is simple. For children I recommend Modern School. Emergencies call for Holy Angels Hospital very near. Leo's Pizzeria is a place I enjoy eating. The absence of parking for visitors troubles us very much, though.

For customers looking for opulent living, I quite advise Vasant Vihar. I highlight embassies, top schools, and Fortis Hospital. I emphasise the Nehru Place and Aerocity access points. Ring Road, buses, and Metro lines are explained. Still, I bring up internal road improvements, parking shortages, and traffic congestion as well.

Chanakyapuri is very close to the area, along with the embassies and foreign consulates. It’s that kind of high-security neighborhood, where so many Government officers and top business tycoons stay. Thankfully, my child has got into JNU, which is very near to the neighbourhood as well. Yes, there is some air and noise pollution these days due to more vehicles, but the rest is absolutely fantastic.

I grew up here, and once I realized how some of India’s top bureaucrats, politicians, businessmen, and celebrities have homes here, I just flipped out! I never thought of it that way, but here we are! Airport access is excellent, with an average journey taking about 20-25 minutes, while IIT, JNU, and many other reputed institutions are also nearby. Then there’s the greenery- loads of it all around, while Basant Lok market is our hangout for shopping, dining, movies, and recreation. Yes, property prices are costly, but it guarantees you a lot of exclusivity and safety. Traffic congestion and noise pollution are two things that can be improved in this neighborhood.

Vasant Vihar was my childhood dream, since one of my best friends used to stay here. I dreamt of staying here one day, and could fulfill my dream some years back, after I achieved some measure of success, by the grace of the Lord. What attracted me was the huge safety quotient of the locality, particularly since so many Government officers and bureaucrats live here. Many corporate biggies are also present in the neighbourhood, which means better planning, much improved roads, lots of greenery, and great amenities in terms of education, healthcare, shopping, etc. My only concern is the huge crowds during the peak morning and evening hours.

It's a complete privilege to work and live in Vasant Vihar. This is Delhi's finest diplomatic and residential enclave, providing an unmatched luxury lifestyle that my clients love. The special plus here is the great greenery, each block is like a peaceful, well-designed park, and we have excellent schools such as Modern School, here. Connectivity is quick through the Magenta Metro Line, and we are merely seven kilometres from IGI Airport, which is perfect for regular flyers. Although the neighbourhood is extremely secure and has upscale shopping at DLF Promenade, among other things, the biggest disadvantage is that housing is very unaffordable, one of the most pricey pin codes in Delhi, and parking is a serious issue because of the density of huge independent homes.

Vasant Vihar is one of the most posh localities in Delhi, make no mistake about it! The property costs are really high here, and that’s what makes it so exclusive. Plenty of Government officers (all high ranking) live here, along with VVIPs, businessmen, tycoons, etc. I like the greenery in the area, and the planned layout, along with the lovely roads to take walks every morning or evening. Safety levels are good, most probably due to VIP and diplomat movement here, while there are top institutions nearby, including JNU, DU, and IIT. Hospitals and civic amenities are top-class, while there are plenty of dining and shopping options at the Basant Lok market and Priya Complex. The only drawback is the peak-hour traffic.

For twenty years, Vasant Vihar has been the epitome of tranquility and luxury. The well established green cover and expansive bungalows throughout the blocks provide a peaceful, safe setting unequalled in Delhi due to our diplomatic enclave status. We enjoy world class social life and trade at Basant Lok and DLF Promenade, and connectivity is just right with the Magenta Metro line here and the airport merely seven kilometers away. It is really a commanding, favored position. The only single area that has to be better to sustain our good quality of life is committed traffic and congestion control, especially around the favorite Basant Lok market area.

If you can afford it, Vasant Vihar is one of the best places to stay in Delhi. Period. I miss staying here, since I had to move cities for my work commitments. You can easily find tree-lined streets and that classic Delhi vibe, with the mansions and several luxury buildings. The Vasant Vihar metro station is easily accessible from the locality, while there are several major roads here. Another advantage is that the IGI Airport is just 10-15 minutes away from this prime locality. Social infrastructure-wise, there is the Basant Lok Complex nearby, along with several restaurants, cafes, retail stores, and more. Reputed educational institutions like JNU and IIT are also nearby, along with leading hospitals. I think the only gripe that I possibly have is that the area is too costly, with limited land availability for new development.
