Viviana and Korum provide ample choices for shopping. Availability of many parks and lakes gives the locality an added charm. Negatives: Certain parts of Thane West are flood-prone during the monsoon season. Furthermore, the area has been experiencing irregular supply of water, impacting the daily lives of people residing there. Although these issues persist, they are being tackled through infrastructural development and community efforts.

Positives: I cannot believe how much Thane West has changed since I purchased my apartment here. The development and convenience are just incredible. The biggest advantage is the fantastic connectivity. Ghodbunder Road is a lifeline, and the primary Thane station is so convenient, which is vital for my business trips. We have everything at our doorstep, from premier schools like Sulochanadevi Singhania for the children to giant shopping complexes like Viviana Mall. With the lovely Upvan Lake and Yeoor Hills nearby for weekend getaways. This is really a great investment and wonderful to bring up a family in. Negatives: The traffic during peak hours at the main intersections is a big headache. Navigating through the bottlenecks can add significant time to the daily journey. Secondly, the drainage system must be overhauled as some of the low-lying areas flood terribly.

Positives: It was always a very desirable area for me, and that’s the reason I invested here. I could not believe how the entire neighborhood has transformed over the years, especially along the Ghodbunder Road, which is a connectivity lifeline for me. So many glamorous projects have come up here from top builders, and the overall profile of the place has also got a much-needed facelift. Plenty of greenery and other planned civic infra are being put in place, which is something that I am also happy about. In fact, many business parks, lakes, schools, and shopping malls are close by. Negatives: If I have to point out one thing, then it would be the inconsistency in garbage disposal and the huge traffic jams in the peak hours.

Positives: Frankly, I wouldn't swap the lifestyle here for the world. We really do have the best of both worlds: that "City of Lakes" ambiance with all the greenery and lovely views (particularly around Yeoor Hills), combined with world-class, high-end amenities right within our complex and safe gated communities. It is like a lively, secure, and family-oriented surroundings with great schools and hospitals at hand. I'm extremely bullish on the investment here; the steady demand for quality housing means the value of properties is going up nicely. Negatives: Think small thing for improvement, it's that the popularity of Thane West is so great that major roads can be congested during rush hours.

Positives: I have been residing in Thane West for years. I prefer all things being within reach of my home. Well-stocked hospitals, schools and large malls are nearby, and Ghodbunder, Pokhran, and Eastern Express connections make it easy to travel to Mumbai or to work. Several new gated developments maintain resale prices and plenty of options in flats ranging from budget-friendly to high end. Drawbacks: A truthful disadvantage, in my opinion, is that a few roads near Thane West do not have as many green parks as I would like. There are nice lakes nearby, but not necessarily small neighbourhood parks next to each building. Otherwise, it's secure, well-linked and convenient for family life.

I find nice schools, hospitals, malls, and local markets, so basic needs are readily available. I exhibit clients to modern flats, gated societies, and a few old buildings, which are appropriate for families and working professionals. I see parks, lakes, and gardens that make it seem serene when compared to downtown Mumbai, and rental demand is stable, which I emphasize for investors. Drawbacks I notice that there are certain aged areas which experience periodic waterlogging during excessive rains, hence I recommend a check of property conditions before making a purchase.
