Public transport is hard to find in Farukh Nagar if you don't know the area well. It is a bit distant from Delhi and Gaziabad and lies on their Northern Border. The nearest metro is close to 10Km away which I find to be a bit inconvenient. But both Delhi and Ghaziabad can be reached by road easily via the Tilla Mode, Farukh Nagar Road.
As Delhi and Ghaziabad are fast expanding the next in line for development is Farukh Nagar. The place is seeing transformation as housing options are cropping up all over the locality. It is a great time to invest in housing here as the place is expected to give good returns in the future. It's a good peaceful locality perfect for scenic living away from the busy city.
The only problem I find with Farukh Nagar is that it is a bit far from city life. The locality is yet to see large-scale development. The necessities can be found but that is about it. The area is open and has a tendency for dust storms. Sometimes water scarcity has been an issue over the years. But the affordability of the place is what attracts people.
Many reputed schools, medical institutions, and parks are nearby which makes Farukh Nagar a great place to live in. Clinics and medical shops can also be found in the general vicinity. The Wazirabad Road is 5 Km away which gives the location connectivity with Ghaziabad on one side and Delhi on the other. The Hindon river nearby also provides scenic open spaces and is my favorite aspect of the locality.
Situated in Northern Gaziabad, Farukh Nagar lies on the border of Delhi and Ghaziabad. The Tilla Mode Farukh Nagar road provides good connectivity to the heart of Modinagar. Moreover, Farukh Nagar is a great residential neighborhood for people looking for affordable accommodation. The locality is peaceful with many open spaces that give you a feel of rural India. Basic amenities can easily be found along with many vibrant local markets to cater to all your needs.
