The UP government has approved additional incentives for Vamasundari Investments (a joint venture between HCL Group and Foxconn) to set up a ₹3,706 crore semiconductor plant in Sector 28, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). This project is expected to generate 3,780 jobs and produce compound semiconductors, sensors, components.
