Ajnara India to invest more than Rs 300 Crore in Ghaziabad

Ajnara India plans to invest over Rs 300 crore in Ajnara Fragrance, a 5.6-acre project in Raj Nagar Extension, Ghaziabad, which will have 450 units. The project will feature retail spaces, restaurants, and entertainment zones, with funding from internal sources.

NCLT admits homebuyers insolvency petition against Ajnara; builder to appeal in NCLAT

The Delhi branch of the NCLT admitted a petition by homebuyers against Ajnara India, initiating insolvency proceedings due to defaults in the Ajnara Ambrosia project. The petition was filed by 113 homebuyers who had invested in Ajnara Ambrosia. Ajnara India owner said that he will appeal against the decision in the NCLAT.

The NCLT admitted a petition by homebuyers for initiating insolvency proceedings against Ajnara India. The NCLT has appointed Amarpal as the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP). Ajnara cannot take up any work on the project without approval from the IRP.

The Delhi branch of the bankruptcy court admitted the plea on September 20. Ajnara India owner Pramod Gupta said that he will appeal against the decision in the NCLAT. According to the petition, Ajnara India had received advance payments from the homebuyers to the tune of Rs 50,47,48,426 but failed to fulfil its commitments and defaulted in the construction of the project.

Homebuyers of a delayed group housing project in Greater Noida West have proposed to pay up a portion of the Rs 48 crore the project's developer owes to Greater Noida Authority in land dues. The four towers were excluded from the insolvency proceedings after the developer challenged the order in the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), arguing the construction was approved under Section 8 of the UP Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-Rera) Act, which facilitates the rehabilitation of incomplete projects.
