Cosmos Shivalik Homes 2, developed by Cosmos Infraestate Pvt. Ltd., was officially launched on April 11, 2016, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2021. The project is registered under RERA with number UPRERAPRJ5819.

In Greater Noida West's Shivalik Homes 2, buyers invested their hard-earned money to book flats, but construction halted, leaving the project incomplete for 10 years. Where luxury homes were to be built, there is now a ruin.

Residents of Shivalik Homes Surajpur, along with those from Himalaya Pride and Nirala Greenshire in Greater Noida West, displayed banners as part of the 'no vote no registry' campaign due to the lack of ownership rights for their flats. Nearly 400 out of 420 flats in Shivalik Homes Surajpur are occupied, but registration is pending for all.

Around 350 homebuyers of Shivalik Homes Society in Greater Noida have warned of protests over long delays in flat registrations. Residents say they moved into their homes nearly a decade ago but still do not have occupancy certificates, completion certificates, or registered sale deeds. The builder allegedly owes around Rs 1.8 crore in lease rent to UPSIDA and has not submitted required documents for occupancy and completion certificates.

At least 350 homebuyers of Shivalik Homes Society in UPSIDA Surajpur site C, Greater Noida, said they would intensify their agitation over the delay in flat registration. The delay is linked to the builder's failure to clear lease rent dues of around ₹1.8 crore payable to UPSIDA, along with non-submission of mandatory documents required for OC-CC issuance.
