Positives: I recall my stay in Sohna as much welcome relief from the madness of the city. It was actually serene and more attuned to nature because of the lovely Aravallis surrounding it. The place had some really well-established schools and hospitals in place, and the better connectivity through the extension of Sohna Road made entry into main Gurgaon much quicker than anticipated, foreshadowing fantastic future development. Negatives: But because I was there at a transition time, I did encounter some problems. To start with, public transport was not very common, so I had to use my own car extensively. Secondly, the general absence of highly developed commercial and retail areas meant that sometimes I had to drive long distances for decent shopping or entertainment. Finally, some neighborhood pockets sometimes did lack power or water supply.

Positives: Residing in Sohna is a serene retreat from the core city commotion; I really enjoy the pollution-free air and the picturesque Aravalli hills scenery. The greatest advantage is the continuous infrastructure growth, particularly the expansion of Sohna Road, which has tremendous future connectivity potential. Additionally, the newer complexes provide much larger and affordable apartments than core Gurgaon. Negatives: Currently, the infrastructure is also catching up. There are constant and unpredictable power outages, a huge nuisance. The travel to central job centers in Cyber City is far and long, even with the upgraded roads. Also, since it's still growing, there's a dearth of quality established hospitals and good schools close by. Also, reliable public transportation options are hard to find currently.

Positives: The region has great connectivity, particularly with the newly finished Sohna Elevated Corridor, which has cut down the travel time to Gurgaon to 20 minutes. Well established schools like GD Goenka University and Ryan International School makes it more desirable. The Central Park Flower Valley, an integrated township of 250 acres, is an example of how quickly the area is developing. Negatives: Few of the internal roads and connectivity within newer areas are still in the process of being developed, so there are occasional issues of accessibility Sometimes, the high-speed development has resulted in elevated construction activity, which can create temporary disruptions In general, Sohna is a good locality with a mix of modern facilities.
