The simple road connection to the Mumbai-Bangalore Road and the feeling of security inside the contemporary gated communities always appealed to me. With Symbiosis and VIBGYOR High School close by and excellent medical care available at Hinjewadi Hospital, essential services were excellent. Entertainment-wise, the Grand Highstreet Mall and several hip cafes abound. Although Metro Line 3 under construction promised future alleviation, my great disillusionment was the severe, debilitating traffic congestion during peak office hours and the lack of enough parking places, which greatly complicated everyday life. Notwithstanding the surge, Hinjewadi provided a good work-life balance.

I decided to rent in Hinjewadi since it's the centre of Pune's IT centre but feels quite liveable.
