Although the area abounds in groundwater, certain areas face water scarcity during summer. The local administration is engaging earnestly on infrastructure developments to rectify these drawbacks.

Positives: My wife and I moved to Kondapur ten years back, and having property here has been an excellent choice. It is a winning combination of comfort and appreciation in capital. I adore being strategically located in the middle of Gachibowli and Hitech City so that major business areas are very accessible. Social infrastructure is great, with my children attend a wonderful school just around the corner, and top-class healthcare from KIMS and Apollo are just minutes away, giving complete peace of mind. Negatives: Firstly, the traffic jam during peak hours, particularly around the major roads, can be terribly frustrating. Secondly, I notice that we're still so dependent on cars as the major metro stations are really a long way to commute. However, Kondapur's great neighborhood atmosphere and investment worthiness make me extremely contented!

Positives: See, I work in Gachibowli, which means that living in Kondapur is a convenience for me, considering the distance. It is about 15-20 minutes on average each day. Also, KIMS and Apollo hospitals are situated here, lots of good schools and even the Sarath City Capital Mall, which is only 10 minutes from my home. In fact, the Botanical Garden is a good place to spend your time every morning if you are into fitness and all. Negatives: Nothing much to say on this aspect, but yes, cost of living has gone up as the area has become more and more posh.

Positives: Honestly, I believe that Kondapur is one of the wisest investment choices I've ever made! Being a property owner in this area, I've witnessed great appreciation in value and rental demand is always through the roof, particularly because we're practically next to the Gachibowli and HITEC City IT hub. It's ideal for professionals. Aside from the immense economic possibilities, the infrastructure is state-of-the-art—we have great schools and hospitals within reach, and you're never far from a state-of-the-art complex or gated community. Negatives: Honestly, the only little catch I ever find myself is the traffic jam during the dead peak hours. But otherwise, Kondapur provides an unbeatable mix of contemporary living.

Positives: I have my own house in this area, and I like it well located between HITECH City and the Outer Ring Road. So I am able to reach offices and malls very fast. I notice good metro and road connectivity, plenty of new gated developments, stable power supply and loads of cafes, supermarkets and schools that make living very convenient. I see consistent rent demand from working professionals and families, and I believe resale value remains strong due to ongoing development. I also frequent nearby shopping complexes and hospitals and I enjoy parks and small green pockets for morning walks. Negatives: I must say that I frequently experience parking shortfalls in older buildings, so I advise them to check covered parking before committing.
