Construction of the third phase of WTC Noida is underway, with the leasing process having started. The new phase aims to operate as a regional trade and commerce window for international partners, focusing on IT/ITes and electronics sectors. WTC Noida has expanded to a 4.2 million sq ft facility.

WTC Noida has launched Phase 3, introducing WTC Cubit, offering office and business spaces. Located in Tech Zone, Greater Noida, this integrated business platform spans 21 acres within a larger 42-acre project, positioning itself as the world's largest WTC. WTC Cubit presents fully furnished office spaces ranging from 260 to 780 sq ft, equipped with modern amenities and available under special payment plans with an assured return of 10% or 11%.

World Trade Center Noida was awarded the Premier Accredited Member status by the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), recognizing its commitment to excellence in facilities and services. This status demonstrates that WTC Noida meets the premier accredited member standard with specializations in Trade Development and Business Member Services.

The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) terminated 13 licenses held by WTC Noida Development and Spire Techpark due to material violations of License Agreements, failure to adhere to the Bylaws of the WTCA, and an inability to advance the objectives of the Association. Effective February 19, 2025, the termination applies to licenses for WTC Ahmedabad, WTC Amritsar, WTC Bhopal, WTC Chandigarh, WTC Faridabad, WTC GIFT City, WTC Lucknow, WTC Noida, WTC Noida CBD, WTC Patna, WTC Surat, WTC Vadodara, WTC Varanasi.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Ashish Bhalla, promoter of the WTC Group, in a money laundering case related to an alleged multi-crore real estate fraud. Bhalla is accused of cheating thousands of investors by offering assured returns for investments in plots, with funds allegedly diverted to shell companies and abroad. The WTC Group reportedly collected over Rs 3,000 crores from investors across various states.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted search operations at 12 locations targeting the WTC group, its promoter Ashish Bhalla, as well as Bhutani group and its promoter Ashish Bhutani, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002. The ED's action revealed large-scale financial irregularities, including the siphoning of over Rs 200 crore to Singapore and the US, indicating illegal overseas investments. The investigation was initiated based on multiple FIRs alleging cheating, criminal breach of trust, and fraud committed by the WTC group.

Buyers who invested in the WTC Noida project allege a fraud of approximately Rs 5,000 crore by WTC Noida director Ashish Bhalla, impacting over 20,000 buyers and investors. Investors in projects like Tech-1, 2, Signature Tech Zone, Plaza, Quad, Cubic, and Riverside Residency have not received possession. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided 12 locations associated with WTC Noida and Ashish Bhalla, uncovering illegal documentation worth Rs 3000 crore and fund transfers to Singapore.

The Delhi High Court has restrained WTC Noida Development and others from using any of the registered trademarks of the World Trade Centres Association (WTCA), observing the mark's goodwill was being tarnished. Justice Amit Bansal stated a prima facie case was in favor of WTCA and against WTC Noida and its promoters, including Ashish Bhalla. The court's decision was influenced by complaints against WTC Noida regarding non-fulfilment of contractual obligations, delays in project execution, and default in payment of annual dues.

A consumer complaint was filed against M/s. WTC Noida Development Company Pvt. Ltd. alleging false publicity and advertisements regarding necessary statutory clearances and licenses for WTC Noida-CBD, Sector-132, Noida. The complainants alleged deficiency of service, stating that the unit was booked for personal business use with the intention of earning a livelihood, and they were entitled to assured returns until handover.

The Supreme Court ordered a Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the nexus between Noida Authority officials and builders, directing action against involved officials. The court asked the UP government to consider converting Noida into a metropolitan council. The SIT found corruption and collusion between officials and builders, with undue favors given to builders in exchange for benefits.

The Delhi High Court refused to consider a petition by 81 homebuyers of WTC Group projects seeking directions to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to restore funds and properties seized in connection with the real estate group's fraud. The court noted a pending petition in a special court and suggested the applicants seek impleadment in the ongoing plea. The ED had issued a provisional attachment order (POA) attaching funds and properties worth ₹2,348 crore linked to the WTC Group, headed by Ashish Bhalla, alleging the money was siphoned off to Singapore-based entities.
