Being a Powai renter, I find great pleasure in the distinct, carefully arranged atmosphere this location offers. Particularly around Powai Lake and Hiranandani Gardens. It is my most most favorite aspect for evening walks living amid magnificent architecture with lots of trees. The vicinity to important IT parks and well-regarded colleges like IIT Bombay gives the area a cosmopolitan, high-quality neighborhood feel. Excellent access via My trip is made smooth by JVLR and Metro Line 6 coming soon. For a cozy life, the presence of premier hospitals, retail venues Galleria, and top schools seals the deal. Better traffic signal management and road maintenance, especially during the monsoon, would, however, considerably enhance the daily life in this otherwise flawless area.

Offering a really luxurious, self-sustained lifestyle within the central suburbs, Powai is an unmatched option for families as well as professionals. With IIT Bombay at its core and well-known commercial parks such Hiranandani, this region has turned into a center of commercial and residential activity guaranteed with steady demand and high rental yields. Residents relish the scenic Powai Lake, large greenery, and first-rate social infrastructure, including prestigious schools and Dr. L. H. Hiranandani Hospital. Connectivity is strong throughout JVLR, Eastern Freeway, and the approaching Metro Line 6. Although critical services abound, there is insufficient public parking. To manage the continuous expansion of the area, space around significant retail and food districts need repair. In Mumbai, Powai presents a premium, practical, environmentally friendly paradise.

I like living in this neighbourhood with my family. The kids love the Powai Lake, and the multiple green spaces and parks here. Also, the hubby is fond of the hill views, while I personally like the entire look and feel of the community. It also helps that both of us spouses have our offices in the locality itself. This has helped us create the right balance of wellness, work productivity, and family time, especially with two young children. Life couldn’t be better in this self-sufficient community; you won’t have to venture out for anything! I just wish they would fix the drainage issues, which leads to some waterlogging at times.

Powai is a 5-star locality. I am so happy that my father was one of the earliest to buy property in the neighbourhood, when not many people were sold by the dream tha the Hiranandanis were pitching! Cut to 2025 and it is one of the poshest locales in the city, with sky-high property prices, luxury projects, stunning views of the hills, and a flourishing IT and ITeS hub, with plenty of leading corporates, startups, and whatnot! Social amenities are excellent, the Powai Lake and other green spaces are abundant, and there’s no dearth of entertainment and recreation. Connectivity-wise, there are major roads nearby, but the Asalpha metro station is almost 30 minutes away. There is no direct metro station here. That’s the only issue.

I drive past Powai Lake in the morning and enjoy the view before meeting clients. Hiranandani Gardens and IIT Bombay provide a smart feel to the locality. Powai has several startups and office complexes, so employment opportunities and rentability are good. Infrastructure is good through JVLR, SEEPZ connectivity, Eastern Freeway and upcoming Metro Line 6. Malls, shops, hospitals and schools are near for personal requirements. The lake, parks and planted avenues provide genuine greenery and serenity. Premium prices but still affordable relative to South Mumbai for comparable space and facilities. Powai is my recommendation for professionals and families who desire convenience and community. Improvements needed are congestion during peak hours, and road and drainage maintenance during monsoon.

If you are looking for a place to settle down in Mumbai, Powai ticks all the boxes. Yes, it’s slightly costly, but you do get more value than in many other Mumbai localities. There is ample and abundant greenery and water bodies, plenty of local amenities, a peaceful ambience, and most importantly, the lovely hill views to savour each day. Many corporates like JP Morgan and others have set up offices here, along with several other leading startups. The JVLR is nearby, along with the Eastern Express Highway, and the LBS Marg. At the same time, the upcoming Metro Line 6 will have two stations in the area. This will boost the connectivity and area profile alike. Parking issues and traffic congestion are my only two woes; the rest is absolutely top-notch.

Powai is a whole new world, as I see it. The first thing that strikes you as you approach the area, is how calm and peaceful it is, when you enter the inner layouts. The views of the hills, the noticeable drop in temperatures at times, and of course, the pristine Powai Lake. It all makes for a fabulous environment to settle down and raise children. That’s what I did; it also makes sense since I work in the area itself. I walk or cycle to work, and save a lot of time in the process. Amenities-wise, Powai has everything you need, right from shopping centres and local markets to malls, schools, hospitals- you name it! I only wish the property rates were slightly more affordable, so that we could expand our apartment, but that’s about the only grouse.

Being an owner at Powai I just adore the cosmopolitan atmosphere and greenery, particularly the stunning hills. This location is the benchmark when it comes to connectivity, being close to the JVLR, Eastern Express Highway, and the soon to be launched Metro Line 6, making daily travels immensely convenient, particularly to vibrant IT and business hubs like Hiranandani Business Park. The housing complexes are luxury and well designed, and we have a high-quality lifestyle here, in addition to IIT Bombay and good schools being nearby. The safety and facilities are excellent, but the growing traffic jams during rush hours should be better managed in order to preserve our quality of life.

Powai is one of the finest areas to live in Mumbai. There is no two ways about it. My family was one of the first ones to buy into the Hiranandani Gardens, and life has been pretty smooth ever since. I do regret how I had to move out of Powai to the States some years back, although my wife and kids are still here, with a large part of my extended family, including aunts, uncles, and of course, my Mom. The views are stunning, you get actual hills in Mumbai, lots of greenery all around, that beautiful lake and walking trails, and of course, the well-planned societies with wide roads- life in Powai is always enjoyable. Lots of social infrastructure, including reputed schools, colleges, hospitals, and restaurants. So, I’ll give it a five-star rating, and I look forward to settling back here in the future. The only gripe I have is the traffic congestion, with the offices and IT hubs setting up here.

It is a lovely mix of city life and nature to live in Powai. I love walking along the scenic Powai Lake in the mornings and Deer Park in the evenings. The area is well connected with good schools such as Bombay Scottish and Hiranandani Foundation, perfect for families. Shopping and recreation are a breeze with Galleria and R City Mall around the corner. Hiranandani Business Park makes commuting to work easy, and connectivity through JVLR, Eastern Express Highway, and nearby metro is good. The area is safe and well maintained. Traffic is heavy only during peak hours and public transport can be improved. Overall, I strongly recommend Powai for a balanced lifestyle.

Positives: Residing in this area was an extremely pleasant experience. The tranquil Powai Lake and the verdant greenery created a calm surroundings, thus making it an ideal mix of city life and nature. Excellent infrastructure is available in this area with broad roads and neat gardens. Educational centers such as IIT Bombay and schools like Bombay Scottish School and Podar International School are close by, ensuring good education. Medical facilities such as Dr L. H. Hiranandani Hospital are readily available. Malls such as R City Mall and Galleria provide plenty of retail therapy. The availability of business complexes such as Hiranandani Business Park provides plenty of jobs. Yet, more public transport options and smoother traffic management during rush hours could further contribute towards more enhanced living.

Positives: I reside here and I simply love the beautiful lake view and greenery that makes the place so fresh. My apartment is near Hiranandani Gardens, malls, schools, and hospitals, so life in general is very convenient. The roads are broad and well-paved, and the nearby cafes and restaurants add to the fun on weekends. It's a well-designed neighborhood with a safe and warm community. Properties are classy but worth the convenience and amenities. To enhance living here even more, I believe that traffic control during peak hours and improved public transport connectivity would ease daily commuting. All in all, I must say Powai is a highly fulfilling place to reside in.

Powai is one of the best places that one can stay if you’re in Mumbai. It is so green and well-planned, it almost feels like a dream. You get these big roads and so many luxury complexes. Then there’s the hill view. When I first came here two years back and moved into my apartment, it just wowed me! After spending my growing-up years in a congested Mumbai locality, it was heaven. Two years later, it still seems like heaven, although the traffic jams have come here too, with more development. But still, it is a good decision on my part, considering the future.

Positives: The location has a peaceful atmosphere with the scenic Powai Lake and greenery. With spacious roads, well groomed gardens, and good connectivity through the Jogeshwari Vikhroli Link Road, Eastern Express Highway, and forthcoming Metro Line 6. Business centers like SEEPZ and MIDC, commuting being easy. IIT Bombay and Bombay Scottish School increases the attraction of the location. Negatives: The area has seen rapid development and, as such, traffic congestion has increased. The area is largely safe, but the recent illegal excavation close to the Hiranandani helipad has posed some questions regarding environmental sustainability The area, though supposedly upscale, has not seen large variations in property prices in the last couple of years.

Positives: There are mostly positives about living in Powai. The area is very green and clean, and the lovely view of the hills is another plus point. Plus, there are so many offices and IT parks here. I actually bought a property here, since I wanted to be within walking distance of my workplace. I am happy that I achieved here. Overall, the neighborhood is very posh, with all the social infrastructure you would want, and a very good, well-planned community of elite people. Negatives: While connectivity and lifestyle-wise, Powai is a top choice, everything here is too expensive, even when you are shopping on the local streets.
