Positives: A year ago, I resided in Sealdah, therefore I found the amazing connectivity very lovely. My biggest benefit came from the local train and metro connectivity that let me swiftly access my office hub in Bidhannagar. My favourite location for inexpensive shopping was the Baithakkhana Market, where I spent a lot of time. I relished a quick journey to some calm walking around the Santragachi Lake. In my area, NRS Hospital and St. Paul's School were the most well-known locations. The streets were always bustling, therefore I felt secure.
NegativeNegatives: Heavy waterlogging during rains on almost all major roads was my poor encounter. Back then, I sensed the need for very fast measures.
Positives: Wanting to be in the center of Kolkata's commercial center, I put my money in Sealdah. My theory is that for every company owner, the middle position provides unparalleled advantages. The lively mood of the lively markets nearby suits me. Health and education-wise, Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Loreto St. Mary's are close by. With the nearby East-West Metro station, my travel advantages are rather great. My rental yield is quite great, and I think the neighbourhood is safe.
NegativeNegatives: I am very let down by large crowds and great noise. My recommendation is to swiftly repair the limited, damaged walkways. I believe the waste management in this area needs work.
Sealdah is Kolkata's ultimate transit hub. The Sealdah Railway Station and the new East- West Metro provide you immediate access everywhere, thus making the place unique. For your family needs, I advise placing great value on the proximity to Loreto Day School and NRS Medical College. Walking here at night gives me a sense of safety since the surroundings is always busy and well-lit. I like the vegetation in Santosh Mitra Square or seeing a film at nearby Prachi Cinema. Because of the constant intake of students and office personnel, rental yields remain extremely high. The enormous morning crowds and the narrow, ancient roadways present a little bit of a challenge for me.
Positives: Because it is near my Dalhousie corporate centre office, I am renting Sealdah. The affordable travel and the new Metro connection seem to me to be the greatest assets here. Generally, for my needs, I buy at Big Bazar or the Baithakkhana market. For all of my medical checkups, I find the BR Singh Hospital to be very dependable. I appreciate the little green area in the parks nearby.
NegativeNegatives: The dearth of hygiene on the main roadways is my major issue. For many, I think the midnight safety worries are a major one. I would somewhat want improved streetlights and narrower lanes free from dirt. The daily severe contamination is the source of my greatest frustration.
Positives: I spent time in Sealdah taking railway coaching sessions. I thought the connectivity of this site was its main benefit. To move across the city, I daily took the East-West Metro and the Sealdah station. In emergencies, the closeness to NRS Medical College and Hospital was really beneficial in my view. My spare time went at the historical Rajabazar region and the neighbourhood markets.
NegativeNegatives: This is where there is a very high crowd and noise level. Major issues, in my opinion, are the terrible smell close to the station and the absence of cleanliness. My point of view is that to prevent waterlogging, the drainage system requires a complete overhaul. I despised the never-ending traffic congestion, actually.
I am quite delighted to own my home in Sealdah as my everyday life remains rapid, connected, and convenient. This location is really beneficial since my neighborhood is in central Kolkata and everything remains nearby. Given my easy usage of Sealdah Railway Station, Metro Line 2, buses, vehicles, and EM Bypass, I relish great connectivity. With colleges like St. Xavier's nearby and hospitals like NRS Medical College, I feel safe. Because my neighborhood is well lighted and busy, I feel somewhat secure at night. Local markets, parks, and food establishments appeal to me. I think the great demand for rentals makes my investment worthwhile. I think the archaic drainage systems and traffic bottlenecks have to be immediately updated.
