I enjoyed the convenient location of Sector 49, Gurgaon, where I lived briefly. Roads were excellent for drives. Sohna Road and Golf Course Extension Road made Local markets and Good Earth City Centre addressed daily needs. Offices along Golf Course Road were nearby. Short travel to Cyber City and MG Road Commutes were therefore quick. Medanta and Artemis, hospitals, were only a short drive distant. Morning walks benefited from parks and little neighbourhood green spots. Help came from neighbours. The neighborhood was contemporary and secure. My favorite was the quick access to work hubs and stores in under 20 minutes. One Peak hour traffic and pedestrian walkway maintenance were areas requiring improvement. I would gladly suggest it to new inhabitants.
Particularly along Sohna Road, we are right next to the main business activity The residential pockets feel remarkably tranquil and safe A perfect setting following a long day at work. With malls like Good Earth City Center and Baani Square nearby, alongside vital amenities like Artemis Hospital and many well-known schools. Getting around is very easy thanks to the connectivity through Sohna Road and the Golf Course Extension Road; so, the daily commute to the local IT parks is rather smooth. Particularly during the rainy season, the inadequate upkeep of local roads and open drains that might cause potholes and little nuisance is the sole disadvantage requiring urgent attention.
With its strategic placement on Sohna Road, Sector 49 in Gurgaon is an investment goldmine ideally suited for premium housing and strong returns. and the Golf Course Extension Road. With best institutions like DPS International and luxury hospitals like Artemis nearby, its strongest suit is its excellent social amenities. The easy access to prominent corporate parks like Iris Tech Park appeals to clients; this drives high rental yields throughout 2 and 3 BHK arrangements. Though being central, the surroundings is exceedingly quiet, perfect for high-net-worth people. Better planned public transportation choices besides shared auto-rickshaws would benefit the area considerably by enhancing daily commuting for all inhabitants. This location offers great capital growth and excellent lifestyle convenience.
Positive: Being a Sector 49 Gurgaon renter fills me great delight. The region really justifies its reputation as a quiet and relaxing location. Sohna Road and the Golf Course Extension Road provide great road access that allows effortless travel. Near here, the community offers everything basic. Along with excellent shopping venues like Sapphire Mall, and premium medical choices from several close hospitals. It is unquestionably a luxury neighborhood with a contemporary, high-quality residential vibe.
NegativeNegatives: It is really annoying that peak-hour traffic jams, especially along the main arteries, can be aggravating. Furthermore upgrading of the drainage system is called for. Open drains and potholes are a continual headache for both drivers and walkers during the wet season.
Sector 49 makes a strong case for raising a family, since it is very well-connected through multiple roads. When you have the Sohna Road or Dwarka Expressway nearby, along with the SPR, it makes for a very smooth experience indeed. The placement of the locality is very strategic, if you consider it. I won’t be surprised if it becomes one of Gurgaon’s costliest locations in the near future. My only issue is that the last-mile public transportation facilities are hard to access, but that should improve considerably down the line. I am pretty satisfied living here, to say the least.
Sector 49 is a well-developed locality, in my opinion. Sohna Road is the main lifeline that runs nearby, and the Golf Course Extension Road is not that difficult to access. The SPR (Southern Peripheral Road) is another lifeline, along with the Dwarka Expressway, Golf Course Road, and the NH-8. So, the neighbourhood is strategically located at the connecting points of so many key roads. That is a big plus point, in my opinion.
NegativeThe only thing I can mention is the soaring property prices. This has made real estate projects costlier. I am happy with the appreciation, but my relatives are finding it hard to invest here.
Positive: Sector 49 is located right on Sohna Road, which explains the reason behind the decision for choosing this location. The connectivity was excellent. Many times, we availed of the Sector 55-56 Rapid Metro station, just a short drive away. I liked the fact that all important services, schools such as St. Xavier's, and Park Hospital were at a stone's throw, and Sapphire Mall took care of all the shopping needs.
NegativeNegative: Water logging on many internal roads was a real headache, especially after heavy rains, as the drainage system often backed up. Another issue was the sometimes unreliable power supply. We suffered too many sudden power cuts and voltage dips that disrupted everyday life.
Positives: I thoroughly enjoy the superb road connectivity through Sohna Road and Golf Course Extension. Top-notch hospitals such as Artemis are just a stone's throw away. I feel secure and the business parks like Iris Tech Park proximity simplifies my commute. Despite the area being a bit costly, the very high quality of life afforded makes it well worth the price.
NegativeNegatives: The proximity to the Huda City Centre metro, it is around 7 km distant, and public transportation in the sector is limited, so that distance is a hassle without a personal car. Also, in peak hours, the Sohna Road has terrible traffic jams that really annoy me a lot and require a complete overhaul.
Positives: I have been renting at Sector 49. it is quiet though central. The amazing connectivity to Sohna Road and the surrounding commercial centers like Iris Tech Park, making my office commute a breeze. We have great world-class schools and hospitals like Artemis nearby, so I have complete peace of mind.
NegativeNegatives: The serious traffic jam during peak hours, particularly on the major roads, which requires immediate police deployment to handle. Public transport means such as buses are few, and without having my own car, travel to the Huda City Centre metro station becomes challenging. In addition, some of the interior roads are deteriorating, and potholes become big problems during rainy days.
Sector 49, on paper at least, offers everything that I would need for a comfortable lifestyle with my family. Now, I wanted to buy a property here, since it is close to the Golf Course Extension Road, which is quite near to my workplace. Sohna Road is also close by, while the shopping outlets like Big Bazaar, local markets, multiplexes, restaurants, etc., are also accessible once you drive for about 10-12 minutes. The property prices are also going up due to higher demand, and I think I’m pretty satisfied with my investment.
NegativeThe only thing I would like to be improved is the power supply. There are sudden outages that take a long time to be fixed.
I love how the Sector 50 market is close by, helping me buy essentials without any hassles. Then of course, Big Bazaar is also nearby, along with the Golf Course Extension Road and Sohna Road (my workplace is here). I also like the fact that hospitals, schools, and other amenities are within a 10-15 minute radius. Many residential complexes have come up here, along with multiplexes, local markets, eateries, and so on. It is a good place to stay at.
NegativeThe issues here include inconsistent power supply at certain times of the year. Waterlogging is also an issue that the civic body should look at.
I personally really feel settled in Sector 49 on Sohna Road and I would say it has a good balance of peace and convenience. The place is well connected with Huda City Centre metro and main roads and it's easy to commute. I appreciate the greenery of the place with parks and clean streets and there are lots of shops, cafes around. It is safe and relatively quiet, and I see families and young professionals select this sector due to its up-to-date infrastructure. The two issues that I do have are that there are potholes on some of the inner roads after rains and construction around here sometimes clogs up traffic. Despite that, Sector 49 is very welcoming to live in and well worth the suggestion.
Positives: I think Sector 49, which is positioned directly on Sohna Road, has such great connectivity. It's just a short drive from Huda City Centre Metro station, and major commercial centers like Universal Trade Tower are really close by. I have to say the peace and general safety of the area are special and ideal for families and professionals. I have noticed that even with slightly higher rentals, the availability of world-class schools and several shopping malls like Sapphire and Omaxe.
NegativeNegatives: I have observed that the inner road infrastructure falters, particularly during the monsoon season when potholes and open drains turn out to be a big nuisance for regular commuters. I further noticed that the limited availability of public transport makes almost everyone rely on a personal vehicle to commute comfortably.
The strategic location of Sector 49 is the biggest asset for this area, if you ask me. I invested in a prime residential flat here quite some time back, deciding that it should be near the Sohna Road intersection and also the Golf Course Extension Road. These are two growth hubs of Gurgaon, and hence, the property prices have gone up considerably as a result. The Vatika Business Park, where I work, is also connected seamlessly to this locality. There are many schools and hospitals that have been set up in the vicinity, along with shopping malls. So, things are happening fast indeed.
NegativeThe garbage disposal in the neighbourhood needs massive improvements. It is the one sore point that I have.
I absolutely love living and working in Sector 49, Gurgaon, primarily because it is so peaceful, serene a place despite its proximity to the heart of the city. It is special because it is strategically located just off Sohna Road and the Golf Course Extension Road. It is near Universal Trade Tower and Iris Tech Park. We have convenient proximity to best schools such as DAV Public School and large hospitals such as Artemis, along with extensive shopping at Baani Square and The Sapphire Mall. While property rates are competitive for a well-developed locality, the rentals are a bit on the higher side. However, traffic jams during peak hours are a nightmare for regular commuters, and the clogged drainage system during the rainy season requires urgent rectification.
Sector 49 is a great place to live in, particularly if you consider its highly strategic location right along the Golf Course Extension Road and Sohna Road intersection. Also, the NH-48 and SPR are both accessible, along with the Vatika Business Park, Universal Trade Tower, and the like. My child studies at the RPS International nearby, while hospitals like Park and CK Birla are also in the vicinity. Multiple shopping malls like Eros City Square and Sapphire Mall are also located nearby. I found everything I needed for a happy and healthy life, and hence made the decision to live here sometime earlier. The only thing to improve is the garbage disposal system
Sector 49 is ideal because the area is so peaceful and safe, providing an excellent lifestyle. We adore the excellent road infrastructure through Sohna Road and Golf Course Extension, making it easy to commute to the nearby IT business parks like Iris Tech Park, with great career opportunity. The fact that it is near well-known schools such as DAV Public School, big hospitals, and well-known malls such as Sapphire and Omaxe City Centre is a big plus point, and the place itself is comparatively affordable for the facilities it has. In terms of better day-to-day mobility, the lack of local public transport facilities, other than autos, is something that badly needs infrastructural upgrade here.
Sector 49 was a good locality to live in, and I was happy with the intersection of the Golf Course Extension Road and the Sohna Road. I eventually moved out due to work constraints, but the connectivity options in the area were pretty nice, including the SPR and NH-8 access, along with the Yellow Line of the metro network (through the HUDA City Centre station). The Sector 55-56 metro station (Rapid line) was also accessible. Multiple business hubs and malls are also nearby, along with schools and hospitals like Medanta and St. Xavier’s High School. The parks and green spaces are also good here.
NegativeThe only issue I find is the Sohna Road traffic congestion, especially during the weekdays, and also the waterlogging problem during heavy rains. Power and water supply also need major improvements, in my opinion.
Positives: Sector 49 is much convenient access to my office at Iris Tech Park, and the place is great for working professionals. We are conveniently located off Sohna Road and near the Golf Course Extension Road, making commutes within Gurgaon easy. Schools and good hospitals like Artemis in the vicinity. And the easily available many shopping malls and local markets here make life very easy.
NegativeNegatives: But the fast development here implies that there are still areas that require heavy work. We have very serious traffic jams at office hours. Public transport is very limited within the sector. Lastly, the older service roads and drainage in certain pockets require upgrading, as heavy rainfall causes waterlogging on the roads.
Positives: Having invested in a property in Sector 49 has been an excellent choice for me. Being close to the Sohna Road and the Golf Course Extension Road. We have access to well-known schools such as D A V Public School and healthcare facilities nearby, with local markets and The Sapphire Mall providing easy shopping and entertainment.
NegativeNegatives: There is no significant availability of developed public transport systems within the industry, and therefore, movement for non drivers is a problem. Furthermore, improper maintenance of some of the internal roads and defective drainage system cause extensive waterlogging in low-lying areas during the monsoon. We must also take care of the open drains and potholes along local roads.
