Positives: Easy road access via the Pune-Nagar Highway is the main benefit of my transfer to Wagholi. Using the local buses close to the Wagholi Bus Stand, I always found transportation easy. It was comforting to know that a decent hospital like Imax Multispecialty Hospital was always close. My most loved hangout location was Green9 Restaurant. With schools like Sanskriti School not far from my home, I felt safe.
NegativeNegatives: The worst aspect of my visit, in my opinion, was the terrible environmental contamination in the area. Absence of a devoted metro station. Some internal roads are in such bad shape that they need urgent repair. Inconsistent water supply need treatment soon.
I am quite content here; my brief time in Wagholi has been simple and fulfilling. I feel safe living here. The local bus service connecting the Wagholi Bus Stand to the metropolis is my simplest means of transportation. I am content with my daily existence; like D Mart for groceries, everything I need is easily available. Major connectivity is perfect because the neighborhood is close to the major Pune–Nagar Highway. I attend G H Raisoni College; the nearest hospital name is Phoenix Multispeciality Hospital. Though active, my everyday neighborhood life is welcoming. The two things that really need attention right away are the frequently occurring, annoying water supply problems and the very awful inner roads dotted with potholes.
In my opinion, Wagholi is a high-growing investment area. My own experience points toward buying immediately due of the relative cheapness and proximity to IT parks. The appeal of this location is its strategic placement on the Pune-Nagar Highway. Particularly for 2 BHK apartments, rental yields are good and draw IT experts. Residents profit from first rate health and education with Sanskriti School and Imax Multispecialty Hospital close by. Proximity to the Kharadi IT center provides excellent job opportunities. Finally, customers should be informed of the two main deficiencies of this area. Currently there is not much metro connection and the main highway's terrible traffic during peak times.
Positives: I have resided here for a couple of years now because I decided to invest here for the excellent spot next to the IT corridor. Though still under development, my attitude towards this place is average. My contentment is average; though the transportation system gets quite overloaded, I enjoy the area. Here I feel secure, and I like the presence of green parks. I advise this area for individuals seeking larger residences for less money. My unhappiness stems mostly from the total scarcity of seamless civil services.
NegativeNegatives: It's disappointing that there isn't yet a metro stop nearby. Three areas need development in this region: better internal road quality, more frequent streetlights on side streets, and long-lasting remedies for rush-hour traffic congestion.
My experience and thoughts on Wagholi are excellent; I am really glad here because, for a Pune site, it is quite inexpensive. Since the IT parks in Kharadi and Hadapsar are very reachable, the significant benefit for my travel is my preferred feature. Being a renter makes me feel secure, especially inside the gated communities. Nearby, I have a big advantage, like D Mart. Many neighbouring business districts exist in this region; the impending subway expansion promises future development. More arranged public transportation choices beyond bus stops and shared cars are absent and need great visibility here. I have a short job commute and cheap rent.
Here in Wagholi I am quite pleased; my judgement is this region has great promise as it is still rather cheap. Given the fast growth and closeness to Pune East, my investment was certainly worthwhile. Along the highway, I find my travel link simple; day and night, transportation is close. In my complicated area, I feel very secure here. The local environment is developing very internationally. Near the Wagheshwar Temple, I especially enjoy the verdant surroundings. Nearby, Phoenix Hospital and Rising Star School provide excellent medical and educational amenities. I feel that this area has to urgently focus on two main issues, like guaranteeing all areas a steady supply of water and sharply reducing the degree of pollution.
I advise it to my clients because I believe Wagholi is an inexpensive region for a calm life and a better quality of life. This expanding region is quite safe in my judgment; inhabitants enjoy recreation in their big community complexes. The primary benefit is the significant connection afforded by the Pune-Nagar Highway and its close proximity to IT centres like Kharadi. Yerwada is the nearest metro station right now, but the approved Ramwadi-Wagholi extension is the largest prospective development scheme. Here we boast the Sanskriti School and Imax Multispeciality Hospital as our magnificent amenities. I forecast a healthy rental return of roughly 3–4%. The general state and expansion of the major Wagholi roads is the one area requiring urgent attention.
Positives: Wagholi, in my view, was only tolerable. Living there did not really make me happy. I thought the expansion was too erratic. Its outstanding location put me near all the IT centres and the main highway. In my opinion, that was the truly excellent point. Travel was made simple by the broad roadways around the Wagheshwar Temple.
NegativeNegatives: I was saddened there was neither a large shopping mall nor a decent market. They urgently had to mend the severely damaged interior community roadways, address the regular power supply voltage swings, preserve the community parks, and advocate for further projects PMRDA had stopped.
Positives: Wagholi is a gorgeous place, particularly appreciate how much open area we still have here, which makes it seem rather environmentally friendly. The primary benefit is the immediacy of connection off the Pune-Nagar Highway. Kharadi is very near to my home. Therefore, the proposed Ramwadi corridor is intriguing even if we don't yet have the metro. It is certainly emerging as a significant residential attraction. Right close to us we have G H Raisoni College and Imax Hospital. My rental yield is always high.
NegativeNegatives: The ongoing problem with sporadic water supply and the need for quick restoration of the stormwater drains before the heavy rains begin are the most pressing issues right now.
Positives: Wagholi was good, and it seemed to be an inexpensive, developing suburban centre. Being so near the Kharadi IT Hub was great for my career. Nearby, the site had hospitals such as Imax Multispeciality Hospital and outstanding schools like Sanskriti School. The airport was just ten minutes away, and connectivity was good via the Pune-Nagar Highway.
NegativeNegatives: The lack of metro connection was a major disadvantage since it sometimes rendered travel difficult. I was also concerned about the degree of pollution, which appeared to be an increasing issue. Furthermore, aggravating the daily, frustrating struggle was the traffic congestion on the major roads during rush hours.
Positives: For renters like myself, Wagholi is satisfactory. Affordable rents, much lower than those of central Pune, make it nice. We here enjoy several benefits. Lexicon and excellent hospitals are extremely near. Transport is good. We are practically next the airport on Nagar Highway. Travel to Kharadi, however, is only straightforward outside of rush hour. Generally speaking, I believe women are safe in this area.
NegativeNegatives: Some letdowns include the excessive traffic congestion, the absence of enough water supply, all the dust pollution, and no Metro service. Although there is greenery, upkeep is bad. The municipal authority must quickly address these problems.
Positives: I strongly advise other students to come here because the rent is much lower than in other areas of Pune. Living here is simple because D Mart Wagholi is close for everything. From the Shree Jogeshwari stop, I board the bus very simply to G H Raisoni College. I feel absolutely secure in this region. Transport is always an option in this neighbourhood. Late at night I can find a cab or automobile quite simply. News on the Ramwadi-Wagholi metro makes me happy. The Universal Fitness Club is my preferred relaxing location.
NegativeNegatives: We absolutely must have more public transit choices. Some interior roads lack street lighting. Therefore, the drainage system needs significant upgrading prior to the next monsoon.
Positives: I put money in Wagholi because of its great promise and proximity to IT centres. The property's worth is rising dramatically. Utilising the Pune-Nagar Highway directly to my workplace, my daily travel is straightforward. One great benefit is that my family enjoys having top alternatives such as Phoenix Multispecialty Hospital and good schools so close by. Future connection will be improved by the news regarding the approaching Ramwadi-Wagholi metro and by the bus stop's usefulness. Travelling to the ancient Wagheshwar Temple thrills us.
NegativeNegatives: Daily pain points, though, are the rush-hour traffic backups near the main road. The local government also has to swiftly and carefully repair the erratic water supply.
Positives: For me, the great value for money has always been the main benefit of Wagholi. This explains my residing there a few years ago. Large, new flats costing unheard-of rates in East Pune are available, and certain regions are remarkably green. The proximity to the EON IT Park and other large businesses is certainly a strength. It shortens your daily trip if you can avoid the rush hour.
NegativeNegatives: But the roads and traffic were what ultimately shattered me. The daily highway congestion is a nightmare that renders any trip erratic. Additionally, the drainage and sewer system bothered me especially. Near the inside roads were frequent occurrences of bad scents and waterlogging.
Positives: I chose Wagholi mostly since it's far less expensive than Kharadi or Viman Nagar. A big advantage for a working professional like me is the low rent. Even late at night, Nagar Road feels safe and has quick IT hub connectivity. Local buses and ride-sharing vehicles simplify interior movement within the area. It's wonderful so many new societies exist since it makes for a young, active living location.
NegativeNegatives: The availability of water is a never-ending annoyance. It is annoying that we rely so much on water tankers. Particularly during rush hours, the traffic on the primary Nagar Highway is terrible. The promised Metro is far off yet.
Positives: Wagholi is reasonably priced and the neighbourhood offers nearby everything. The Kharadi IT center, particularly EON Park, is a great benefit for work because we are quite nearby. Though Wagholi is not close to old Pune, it is developing into a large residential as well as business center on its own. The best thing is the growing infrastructure with hospitals all around and excellent schools. We have excellent access to the Pune-Nagar Highway, therefore essential.
NegativeNegatives: Particularly in the evenings, the heavy traffic congestion on the primary Nagar Road is the most severe one. Furthermore, the water supply has to be more steady so that we are not always reliant on tankers.
In my professional view, few other places match Wagholi as Pune's Eastern Gateway since it provides excellent housing at incredibly reasonable prices. Particularly to the airport, its strategic location on the Pune-Nagar Highway provides easy access. This is a wise investment since the region offers an outstanding rental yield. Special items here are multispecialty centers like Lifeline Hospital and world-class institutions like Lexicon International School. D Mart and Zudio are easily accessible for purchasing. From my perspective, the authorized Ramwadi-Wagholi Metro extension ensures future value growth. Faster growth depends on two things that must be fixed right away: fixing the arterial road conditions and finishing the intended PMC drainage system expansion.
I just shifted to Wagholi and have had such positive encounters. I believe this location is strategically situated in the IT corridor, so I can readily reach Viman Nagar and Kharadi. Thanks to the Nagar Highway, my perspective on connectivity is excellent. Local bus links are quite easy. The nearness to big corporate hubs like EON IT Park impressed me most; this is a big benefit for my trip to work! I see that the PMC is currently improving the sewage system. Having all of the conveniences close by Rainbow Hospital and Rising Star School is most ideal. I strongly advise this area. The one thing this region really lacks right now, in my opinion, is adequate, wide, safe pedestrian pathways.
For my family, investing here in Wagholi was the wisest choice. Because of the excellent connectivity, I am pleased. We are right on the Pune-Nagar Highway. Though not near in ancient Pune, we are the focal point for Pune East, bridging us seamlessly to Kharadi. The local bus system is trustworthy; approving the Ramwadi-Wagholi Metro extension is a big deal! With several parks nearby, living here feels both green and safe. With D Mart close by, daily necessities are simple. Sanskriti School is adored by our children; Imax Multispecialty Hospital is always nearby for emergencies. Green9 Restaurant is my top hangout location. The continuing peak-hour traffic congestion on Nagar Road is my only great worry for us locals; it needs quick attention.
Positives: I believe I chose Wagholi for budget and job considerations. Here there is no immediate metro, therefore I travel on Nagar Road in buses and cabs. Kharadi offices are nearby, therefore it is feasible to travel to IT. Schools, shops, and clinics are readily accessible, I might remark. Parks such as Kuber and Butterfly Park, in my opinion, provide little green interruptions. I could argue that prices are modern and more reasonable than in central Pune.
NegativeNegatives: Better sewage and a more powerful supply of electricity are what I believe immediate solutions call for. Overall, the area is expanding quickly; however, civic facilities need to catch up. I would stay until things get better.
Positives: Living in Wagholi makes me really happy. Butterfly Park and the little eateries along Nagar Road are my preferred places to hang out. Schools come first for me; nearby we have Mount Litera, Ryan, and Podar. Being near Kharadi's IT center and Pune airport makes work trips simple because one is near both. Given that prices are increasing and new initiatives are reasonably priced, rental yield seems to be good. Local hospitals and clinics like Lifeline and Medipoint can occasionally be useful.
NegativeNegatives: The open feel and fresh gated communities appeal to me. Still, I'm concerned about sewage overflow in certain areas. During the high season, I too observe repeated power outages. Still, I love this place and appreciate the area.
Positives: The affordability relative to other areas of Pune was the most noteworthy advantage. The Kharadi IT Hub commute was quick. We had plenty of schools and fantastic local resources, like the neighbouring Imax Multispeciality Hospital. I was struck by the rate of construction and fresh apartment buildings rising.
NegativeNegatives: Although the Pune-Nagar Highway provided easy access, we lacked a metro. The main problem was the peak hour traffic bottleneck. In the evening, I always found internal road lights lacking. They definitely had to reduce the intense air and noise pollution generated by nearby manufacturing. Areas still under the Gram Panchayat displayed poor maintenance; hence, they needed to be corrected.
Positives: I recently changed to Wagholi and it's proving to be a great choice for inexpensive near the Kharadi IT Hub. The area has reasonable costs that enable one to buy a modern apartment without the large Pune charge. All of the basic services Mult speciality hospitals and large marts are just a brief trip away. A clear great advantage for my everyday work trip is the link over the Pune-Nagar Highway.
NegativeNegatives: Managing the severe traffic congestion during rush hour on the highway is really maddening. It really causes things to decelerate. Furthermore, for improved liveability, the persistent issue of excessive pollution levels here must be absolutely fixed.
Positives: Through Nagar Road, Wagholi provides the smooth link to the Kharadi IT complex. Even walking about during the day, I feel quite secure here. Facilities such as IMAX Hospital equip us. Nearby are outstanding schools like Sanskriti School and G H Raisoni College. Though Ramwadi is now the closest working metro station, the planned Pune Metro Phase-2 expansion coming right here excites possibilities for the future. The region provides good green and my quiet refuge is Wadegaon Lake.
NegativeNegatives: Urgent control of the persistent heavy traffic near Kesnand Phata is needed, especially during peak hours. Students and residents really need a big, committed public library system here.
Positives: Because of its proximity to significant employment and IT hubs, I decided on Wagholi. Many working people come to nearby tech parks drawn by the local area's strong rental yield. Within a radius of 8–12 km are the closest major employment centers Kharadi, Koregaon, and Viman Nagar. From the Wagholi Bus Stand on the Pune-Nagar Highway, bus and auto connection is strong. Affordability is my favourite feature; it presents fantastic value relative to core Pune city. Generally speaking, I am happy with the security.
NegativeNegatives: The complete lack of metro connectivity is a big letdown that forces dependence on road transport, therefore aggravating offensive traffic congestion. For long-term expansion, the local authorities need to speed up approved road and drainage projects.
Positives: The way Wagholi has evolved from a historical hamlet to a contemporary residential center is what makes it unique. Life here is very energetic; everything is conveniently nearby. With colleges like Sanskriti School nearby, I love the region's great educational system. Via the Pune-Nagar Highway, which offers excellent road access to other sections of Pune, is the simplest connectivity. The reality of about ten parks and gardens in and near the neighbourhood is really amazing.
NegativeNegatives: Two significant downsides, however, need awareness. With an industrial context and mining center gate status, pollution is a serious worry. Again, offensive problem are frequent power outages and voltage swings. The basic infrastructure, such street lights on inner roads, calls for urgent upgrading.
Positives: Though I would not consider it a lovely location, its best quality is its closeness and good connection to employment areas like Kharadi. Important services like Lifeline Hospital and institutions like JSPM College can be found here. Generally speaking, you would go towards Amanora Mall for large purchases. The nearest major transit hub, however, is Ramwadi Metro Station which is still a great distance away.
NegativeNegatives: Particularly on the Ahmednagar Highway stretch, the traffic congestion is just horrible and has to be immediately corrected. Inconsistent water supply frequently causes us to depend on private tankers. Issues I'm especially interested about are the poor state of inner roadways and the recent rise in reports of minor theft.
Due to its nearness to the Kharadi IT Hub, Wagholi was a growing neighbourhood I totally adored and always felt safe as a developing residential community. At Imax Multispecialty Hospital, we had excellent access to essential healthcare. Also, we had access to schools like Sanskriti School. Mostly via buses on the Pune-Nagar Highway, connectivity was unfortunately entirely absent when I resided there. Though larger malls were a short drive distant, entertainment mostly consisted of nearby stores and eateries. Particularly at peak hours, traffic gridlock and the air pollution problems greatly impacted general sanitation and air quality. Near the important employment hubs, it provided great worth.
Positives: Wagholi seemed to be a real developing region, providing an excellent mix of comfort and cost. The neighbourhood felt safe, and its fast growth meant we frequently witnessed new facilities. My daily commute was made easy by great Kharadi IT hub connectivity. Many outstanding hospitals and educational facilities were really nearby. I remember loving the rising number of contemporary restaurants and coffee shops. It gave us lots of weekend entertainment choices very close by.
NegativeNegatives: Often backed up, the main highway was a great letdown. Furthermore, bothersome to me was the continual problem of water supply shortages in the more recent residential developments. I thought the local public transportation system really had to improve.
I may claim as a tenant that Wagholi provides a superb living area directly on the trajectory of expansion of the city. The great closeness to the Kharadi IT Hub drew me; my work travels are fast and effective. The rental prices are reasonable, providing excellent value for a modern apartment. Thanks to D Mart and the lively neighborhood marketplaces, all everyday needs are readily accessible. I find the friendly community atmosphere and the beautiful, revitalizing green. Although the bus services are dependable, the sole big missing item here is the remarkable lack of a dedicated metro connection. I'm worried about the poor street lighting along some internal roads. Generally, I really value the easy existence I have discovered here.
For my family and me, relocating to Wagholi was the greatest option. My apartment here makes me very safe and joyful. Pune East offered great value and long-term growth possibilities. Hence I chose this location. With premier institutions like Sanskriti and several other nearby colleges, access to excellent education is a great advantage. Daily essential requirements are easily met because nearby are hospitals like Imax Multispecialty and huge stores like D Mart. Traveling is made easy by connectivity through the short drive to the Airport and the Pune-Nagar Highway. On weekends, we find pleasure in the varied food options and verdant parks. Better management of the traffic on the main road during peak office hours is clearly required to improve flow.
Positives: Particularly if you work nearby the Kharadi IT center, Wagholi is a pleasant and safe neighbourhood. The great connectivity over Pune-Nagar Road allows close access to medical assistance from Lifeline Hospital as well as quality schools like Lexicon International School. Daily groceries can be conveniently found at local markets. Phoenix Marketcity is just a short trip for entertainment. It offers a great life balance. Highly recommend it for its potential.
NegativeNegatives: Long-distance commuting has a serious disadvantage in the absence of direct Pune Metro connection. Some internal roads' solid waste management and cleanliness demand strong and quick urban focus. I believe this region will get better progressively.
For customers searching for reasonably priced homes with great growth potential close to big employment centers, Wagholi makes a great and highly recommended location. With an advantageous position on the Pune-Nagar Highway, it offers great access; Kharadi IT Hub is only 8 to 12 kilometres distant. For working people, it's a huge benefit. With excellent educational institutions like Lexicon International School and multidisciplinary treatment at Imax Multispeciality Hospital, the region has strong social infrastructure. With plenty local marketplaces and parks, it draws a lot of first-time consumers since it is rather inexpensive when compared with core Pune. Still, improved civic maintenance is required as some regions are still under Gram Panchayat authority. Additionally, during peak commuting times, residents often experience significant traffic congestion.
Wagholi is a decent area in terms of housing choices and affordability. Both Hadapsar and Kharadi are situated nearby, while the Solapur-Pune Highway and connecting roads are also accessible from here. The Pune-Ahmednagar Highway is the main lifeline for me at least, while the upcoming 6-lane road linking Charholi will be a good infrastructure development as well. ATMs, banks, eateries, grocery stores, and local markets are all readily available for maximum convenience in the locality.
NegativeThe one thing that I wish to be solved is the potholed roads in many stretches, while the drainage system also has to be fixed here as well. Traffic congestion on the Nagar Road is another issue that I face too.
I personally like Wagholi for its relatively lower cost of living than other central Pune areas. The housing choices are quite affordable here, considering how there are several IT hubs nearby and a fast-increasing commercial cluster as well. Hadapsar and Kharadi are two main workplace hubs that are easy to access, and most people working here choose to stay in Wagholi for its family-friendly vibe.
NegativeThe waste management and garbage collection facilities need to be improved a lot in the locality. There should be a system in place for improving these aspects.
Positives: I found enormous benefit in Wagholi, which seemed like a growing centre. Its cheapness relative to other Pune neighbourhoods drew strong rental demand, thus making it the finest. The closeness to significant commercial centres such Kharadi IT Hub and the simple access to the airport was much appreciated. Our family had easy access to great hospitals like Imax Multispecialty and schools like Lexicon International.
NegativeNegatives: However, because a section still fell under the Gram Panchayat, the general cleanliness and waste management outside the primary society gates felt disregarded, a constant negative experience. Furthermore, they were more restricted than in central Pune, where daily public transportation choices were limited because the area had no official Metro connection.
Positives: Though near the Kharadi IT Hub, the best thing is the general affordability relative to core Pune. At the Pune-Nagar Highway, getting to the airport only takes around 10 minutes it's very quick. Moreover, all basic requirements are effectively met given the presence of great schools like Lexicn International and nearby hospitals like Imax Multispecialty.
NegativeNegatives: Working from home is really challenging since I regularly encounter voltage variations and power outages. Additionally, the absence of appropriate drainage systems leads to water stagnation everywhere especially following rain. The internal road lighting is very inadequate. It makes me very worried about safety when walking alone late at night.
Wagholi turned out to be a wise investment option providing reasonable prices and great development potential in a very safe setting. Establishing Wagholi as a major eastern center, the growing infrastructure is fast growing. Daily connectivity is increasing; the area benefits from its closeness to the future Pune Metro Line 3 expansion (even not yet running), offering future quick transportation. Important services like Lifeline Hospital and institutions such The Lexicon International School are well-known and easily reachable. With more modern developments, the general setting is getting more lovely. The faster inclusion of digitized municipal services for goods such property tax payments is my only modest suggestion for improvement.
Positives: Mostly because Wagholi provides a high standard of living at a very affordable pricing, I am content. Daily needs are nicely supported by the local infrastructure, and the existing social fabric is simple to navigate. Even if the metro is not yet complete, the area's great road connections to the Nagar Road provide acceptable accessibility.
NegativeNegatives: Three significant sectors, though, somewhat reduce my overall pleasure and call urgent governmental action. First of all, the piped water source's reliability and pressure in some areas may be inconsistent during peak summer months. Second, clearly more public green spaces and groomed community parks are wanted. Finally, enhanced security calls for better policing and speed limit on the major Wagholi-Nagar Road section.
Living in Wagholi gives me real joy since it provides excellent facilities without the exorbitant expense of nearby IT hubs. Swift access to the EON IT zone and other large employment hubs make my journey quite reasonable given the site. With several hospitals such Kolte Hospital guaranteeing prompt care, we have dependable emergency support close by. Though we lack a near metro, local transit links naturally to the approaching Ramwadi line. The surrounding natural world offers a revitalizing respite from the urban hub. For families and employees, this is an ideal site to start a life. Local administration should concentrate on strictly controlling the quality and quickness of maintenance of the interior minor residential roadways inside the main zone.
Modern residential investment finds wagholi to be a powerhouse. Its proximity to the Pune-Ahmednagar Highway guarantees great road access to the enormous Kharadi IT center, therefore guaranteeing strong rental demand from specialists. Because of the region's ongoing infrastructure development, capital appreciation prospects are excellent. Its appeal for long-term residents is heightened by easy availability of top medical amenities like Lifeline Hospital. For safe, long-term investments focusing on rental yield stability, I firmly advise Wagholi. Although green areas inside communities are helpful, the region needs substantial funding in huge, publicly maintained recreational parks and communal lakes for more general resident enjoyment.
Positives: I find this area's quick development rather appealing. Though well linked to major areas of Pune such as Kharadi and Viman Nagar, it feels calm. Travel is made easy on the Nagar Road, and the future Metro Line from Ramwadi will enhance it even further. Nearby are excellent colleges such as Lexicon International and Victorious Kids Educares as well as hospitals like Lifeline and Balaji, which I appreciate greatly. Restaurants, shopping malls, and daily requirements are all nearby. Given its increasing demand, property here presents excellent value and good rental income.
NegativeNegatives: I feel the internal roadways still need better maintenance, though; occasionally during the summer months water supply problems occur.
Positives: Being an owner, I believe it was wise to go to Wagholi. The value and possibilities here are enormous. For a place with such easy access to significant schools like D Mart and vast supermarkets, we are so near the Kharadi IT Hub, and the cost is unbeatable. Families can have a bright, contemporary lifestyle here where this region is really thriving.
NegativeNegatives: Irregular water supply is the most painful area as it causes several communities to depend on costly trucks. Furthermore, the open sewage flow must be stopped by a total renovation of the drainage system; enhanced solid waste management would immediately result in considerably cleaner throughout our whole community.
The value of this Pune East site and the simplicity with which I may reach my office led me to select it. Though a metro station is not yet available, Pune-Nagar Highway and the close 10 minutes from Pune Airport For foodies, Green9 and numerous restaurants nearby, Lexicon International School and Imax Mult speciality Hospital, plus a solid social infrastructure abound. Compared to other areas of Pune, the rents are really cheap. Although the safety is mostly good, I wish there were better street illumination on some inside roads. The two main gaps are certainly the lack of suitable metro connection and the need of more effective Gram Panchayat maintenance of managed locations.
Positives: Last year I moved to Wagholi, Pune, and so far it has been a rather positive experience. Via Nagar Road, the region links well to Kharadi, Viman Nagar, and the Pune Airport. I picked this area since it is near IT parks like EON IT Park and World Trade Center. Nearby are schools such Lexicon International and JSPM. Also, nearby hospitals such as Lifeline and Columbia Asia are easy to reach. There are parks, open spaces, and green throughout the area. For renters like me, it's also less expensive than Kharadi or Hadapsar and offers respectable rental returns.
NegativeNegatives: Still, Wagholi still lacks a good internal road network and drainage system. In some areas, water supply could be intermittent. Additionally, traffic congestion around Nagar Road could be lessened along with nighttime safety in some interior streets.
Working in Wagholi, I always tell my customers that the genuine value in Pune East resides here. Its strategic location directly on the Pune-Nagar Highway and closeness to the Kharadi IT Hub set it apart here. Although its central downtown location is missing, its great connection is a significant advantage, particularly given that the airport is only 10 minutes away! Among institutions such Lexicon International School and multispecialty centres like Imax Hospital, we have excellent social infrastructure. Furthermore, it is much more economical than Viman Nagar is it. The modest amount of parks and vegetation bordering the housing developments appeals to me. But for this region to be genuinely flawless, we need the local civic bodies to get more involved in waste management and solve the frequent, unanticipated power outages.
Positives: My stay in Wagholi was mostly enjoyable because of its excellent strategic placement. Being close to the Kharadi IT Hub was perfect for work, and being located directly on the Pune-Nagar Highway gave simple access to the city. With new skyscraper developments and a strong social infrastructure, including great schools like Lexicon and multidisciplinary hospitals like Imax close by, the region is thriving.
NegativeNegatives: The utter absence of metro connections and terrible traffic congestion on the major road made commuting tiresome. Installing more streetlights on interior roadways, reducing traffic congestion at the highway crossroads, resolving the persistent water supply problems, and controlling the significant dust and noise pollution are the four necessary changes.
Positives: I chose Wagholi mostly for its reasonable price compared to that of central Pune. Though metro wasn't available, being near to the Pune-Nagar Highway was a great benefit providing strong connectivity. Hospitals such Imax Multispecialty were rather easily accessible, while institutions like Lexicon International School and G.H. Raisoni College were outstanding. For everyday needs, the neighbourhood markets and D-Mart were handy. All things considered, it was a convenient and cozy place to get started.
NegativeNegatives: A significant issue was pollution, perhaps caused by the industrial area, which occasionally had an impact on the air quality. Particularly on shorter stretches away from the main road, the interior roads frequently lacked fundamental conveniences like adequate street lights.
Positives: The Pune-Nagar Highway has great connectivity for Wagholi. Quick access to the Kharadi IT Hub and Pune Airport, which is just around ten minutes away, makes this ideal. With hospitals like Imax Mult speciality nearby and institutions like Lexicon International, our education is outstanding. The area is really becoming a significant residential centre, and the neighbours are very kind. Because it offers a broad variety of lodging choices and is still rather cheap, I absolutely suggest Wagholi.
NegativeNegatives: Particularly in comparison with other Pune suburbs, the absence of metro connection is a major disappointment. During rush hour especially on the Pune-Nagar Road, local traffic congestion results in considerable commuting delays.
As a high-growth region, Wagholi has definitely lived up to expectations. The region is deliberately located close to the Kharadi IT hub to guarantee strong rental demand and rapid property value. Through the Pune-Ahmednagar Highway, the connection is excellent. It's wonderful to learn that the Ramwadi to Wagholi Metro extension has official approval, therefore greatly increasing property value. My children go CP Goenka International School, and nearby reliable medical amenities like IMHS Hospital are accessible. This clearly is a mid-segment, value-for- money premium region. I feel safe here, and the steady rental income makes this my top investment. I strongly advise purchasing here. But civic amenities like waste management require much attention, and the continual dust from ongoing fast construction presents a minor negative.
Positives: For young professionals, Wagholi stands out since it has inexpensive, contemporary houses near Kharadi, Pune's IT hub. Although not in the heart of things, the Pune-Ahmednagar Highway offers excellent road access to Pune Airport and Viman Nagar, among other places. Good multi-speciality hospitals like IMHS Hospital and Kohakade Hospital as well as amazing educational resources, are close by. In some spots, the area is lovely, green and safe. I highly suggest renting here for the value, it is very inexpensive.
NegativeNegatives: The daily traffic on Nagar Road is the one area that has to be immediately improved. Though the Ramwadi to Wagholi Metro extension (component of Pune Metro Phase 2) is approved and promises to fix all our transportation problems soon, there is also no operational metro now.
