New Elevated Road Project to Reduce Delhi-Faridabad Travel to 15 Minutes

A new Rs 800-crore, six-lane elevated corridor project is set to commence, connecting Ashram Chowk in Delhi to Sarai Khwaja (Sector 37) in Faridabad. This signal-free corridor aims to reduce travel time to 10-15 minutes, bypassing congested areas like the Badarpur Border and Ali Village.

Faridabad Master Plan 2031 under Influence of Elevated Corridor Development

Approximately 7.8km of the new elevated corridor connecting Jewar Airport to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway passes through urban limits designated under the Faridabad Master Plan 2031. This decision to build an elevated stretch aims to accommodate planned high-density urban development and future infrastructure expansion in the area, potentially leading to increased residential and commercial activity.

Faridabad to Get Multi-Level Car Parking and Additional Parking Facilities

The Haryana government has approved a plan to construct a multi-level car parking facility in the NIT area of Faridabad at an estimated cost of ₹60 crore to address traffic congestion and parking issues. The project may include commercial space and a food court. An additional parking facility is also expected to be operational soon in Old Faridabad, accommodating approximately 100 vehicles.
