Green areas along seven arterial roads in Gurgaon are being developed as rainwater absorption zones to mitigate waterlogging issues during heavy rains. Gurugram Metro Construction Begins: First Pile Casting Underway

Construction of the Gurugram metro rail project has officially commenced with the first pile casting work in Sector 45. The project is expected to improve public transport connectivity in the city. The proposed Route will be from Millennium City Centre to Cyber City with a 1.85 km spur to the Dwarka Expressway , having 27 stations , on completion.

Gurgaon Prioritizes Infrastructure and Civic Development

Rao Narbir Singh (Commerce & Industry Minister) reviewed Gurgaon's infrastructure projects, emphasizing timely completion of roads, drainage, and sewerage works, including long-pending projects like Tikli Road and Gadoli cremation ground road, and plans for four vegetable markets. Approximately Rs 20 crore will be allocated for road construction and market development in Sector-46, and 10 crore rs on overall development of the Sector 46 market.
