Gurgaon to Get Third Water Treatment Plant to Boost Supply

The Haryana government has approved a Rs 149-crore project for Gurgaon's third water treatment plant (WTP) at Basai. The new facility will have a capacity of 100 million litres per day (MLD) and is expected to be completed in two-and-a-half years.

Union Cabinet Approves ₹6,970 Crore Dwarka Expressway Tunnel Project

The Union Cabinet has approved the construction of an 8.1-km, six-lane road tunnel on NH-148AE, connecting the Dwarka Expressway with Nelson Mandela Marg in Vasant Kunj, Delhi, at an estimated cost of ₹6,969.67 crore. This project is expected to significantly reduce travel time and ease congestion between West and South Delhi, improving connectivity for commuters.

Haryana Cabinet Approves Revised Rs 10,266 Crore Gurugram Metro Project, Secures World Bank Funding

The Haryana Cabinet has approved a revised cost of ₹10,266.54 crore for the Gurugram Metro Rail project (Millennium city to Cyber city), a significant increase from the previous ₹5,452.72 crore. The project also includes a spur connecting Sector-5 to Gurugram Railway Station and aims to enhance urban transport infrastructure

During Q1'2026, average property prices for Viman Cooperative Housing Society moved from ₹ 7,300/sqft to ₹ 9,450/sqft, reflecting a 29.45% rise.

GMDA has re-tendered a project to upgrade a sewage pumping station in Sector 9A with a 665.5 MLD capacity to address sewage backflow issues, estimating the project to cost Rs 97.6 crore and take two years to complete. The GMDA also approved a Rs 70 crore project to reconstruct over 4.2 km of a master stormwater drain network in sectors 21, 22, and 23.

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is upgrading infrastructure, including re-tendering a sewage pumping station project in Sector 9A to build a 665.5 MLD capacity station costing Rs 97.6 crore. MCG has also approved 16 development projects worth over Rs 99 crore focusing on roads, sanitation, sewerage, and water supply upgrades across various sectors.
